I haven't had a major art block yet this year (knock on wood) but I have found myself getting very frustrated with certain drawings. And the whole transferring bit because ink hates me. So, while I should have actually been screaming into a pillow and making a mess of things, I decided to sketch this. So frustrated with drawing that I drew something to express it. These are quite possibly the rarest big cats in the world, with less than 100 in the wild. I've lived here for 20 years and I've still never seen one, even in captivity. Besides, it's part of the storyline. This is actually how Tacoma earns her wings. Once she jumps off that cliff and falls at just the right speed, two beautiful wings parachute from her back and send her gliding into the clouds. Damn crazy scientist that Skylion is.. I was laying in bed, not in the most comfortable position, and all these heads start pouring out of my pen ;.; Just my luck too - it's the drawings I put so much time and thought into, and spend hours sketching, I fuck up with ink. But this was all freehand mindspew which confuses me even more...given they aren't all perfect and they wouldn't all work, realistically, in an animation..I still felt the need to doodle up as many different expressions as I could.
