Just 'cause I haven't drawn my baby in awhile and it's almost our three year anniversary together :)

I used to draw so many hedgehogs in school, and I haven't in so long. I'm kinda glad I got this done tonight even though the detail on the quills impaled my brain.

Long overdue. This is based on my infamous May 2000 story "The Runaways" featuring Ash the lioness. We were 14 at the time, were super-femme with that long hair, hadn't left the closet yet and hated our home lives. The solution? Running away! The impractical mind of a troubled teen certainly makes for good writing material...and art, of course.

This is one of those meaningless little sketches I often draw while chatting on aim or furcadia. But come to think of it, this is the first time I've ever drawn a sabretooth cat o.o;

So Icarus and Tacoma went for a little swim and, well, it's time to shake-dry and roll in the grass. My hedgehog, Romeo, is foraging on the ground.

Had this one sitting around for over a week. I'm surprised I haven't been drawing as often as I thought I'd be, but it's amazing how fast I've been able to work with a lightboard. The wings look like ass, but I figured out how to fix that tonight. Anatomy practice and tasteful nudity = fun.

Something cute. I haven't drawn a guitar since middle school, but I used to all the time. By my feet is the puppy I hope to have some day. And I didn't feel like drawing wings. Dunno if I want to color this or not. I don't like it too much, beside the cuteness.

Plus I got a new lightboard which I am very excited about but I'm still studying anatomy so I can produce decent lineart. Yes, in the full-body manic-depressive sketch, manic Tacoma has a weird looking hand. So fuck you bitches. <3

Drawn sometime around March 2002. Memories of my hedgehog Bristles and I. Used to follow me on a park trail, he loved to explore. This was a quick sketch but the shading took hours.

This is the great Sky Lion. It controls the weather, and also happens to be Tacoma's "creator" seeing as she has no true family. Those are little storms swirling around in the beast's belly.

A couple hours with Microsoft Paint + Mouse. No photoshop, no filters, no references. Just plain boredom.

Something that took four hours. Based on a little inspiration while driving through my favorite city, St. Petersburg FL. The bridge behind me is the Sunshine Skyway, among the tallest bridges ever built and certainly the most beautiful. BUT...I just had to fuck up the colors, too much shading, out-of-proportion...Tacoma herself looks great but I'm not well experienced with scenery and backgrounds. Seems like whenever I add a background to my drawings, it all goes downhill from there.
