Another picture for the same trade as the ‘roo. I got to see several pictures of someone’s otter and ‘roo couple and decided I wanted to try and draw them. What I was trying to go for here is a sort of lazy day with each other, getting a little frisky. Another picture I was trying to put in extra effort on.

In the last little while I’ve been trying to take more time to plan and draw out characters as I try to improve myself. This was my first attempt at taking more time. I’m quite pleased. This may become part of a transformation series. It was also drawn for a trade I’m working on.

Another trade, this one for Mr. Glenn of him and a couple of his inflated horsies. Never tried anything quite like this picture before.

Another picture of the two as I tried to get their looks down a bit better. Poses still aren’t that great.

Silly idea I had while on vacation. Kassa, my inflatable orca here is getting a little angry about being mistaken for one of those orca/dolphin pool toys with the handles on it. No, no riding on her thank you very much!

When in a social situation many times I shut up. I wanted to try and show what it can feel like. A modification of the “see/hear/do no evil” idea.

Experimenting with a new way of drawing otters. I should have made him a little more innocent I suppose.

OK, a little more sexy than I normally draw. Oh the wonders of orca tail and otter flexibility. Hard to get these angles right (I still have problems with some of them, but after 8 modifications to Sam’s pose I thought that was enough). I really like how Toby’s head came out in this one.\r\n\r\nI did a few more sex scenes between the two on my website ( www.Furnation.com/Terminotaur ). What can I say I was in a mood to draw such. Also, the two hold some extra meaning to me now.\r\n
561x800 35126 bytes 2003.08.14
I did a character sheet for Toby (Sam’s is coming) because he’s a little more “challenging” to draw and has more things that are different compared to a typical anthro morph. Of particular note his tail is actually an extension of his torso, and thus some things are shifted in their positioning.

Yet another picture of the happy couple. This is just about my favourite picture of them to date.

Two characters I’m hoping to develop a webcomic around. Toby (the orca) and Sam (the otter) were an idea that occurred to me on a trip to Vancouver. After doing one picture of the two I stared at it for a while, and things just clicked. I knew their backgrounds and had way more than a few ideas for a comic. Most of these were written out over some salmon sushi at a small fast-food place.

Re-submitting (sorry about that).\r\n\r\nAfter graduating I was in a sort of odd mood, and drew this. On the one hand I felt free, but in some ways also constrained. The otter is trying to turn into a bird. There is no indication he will succeed...\r\n\r\nThe title of the file is of course from the Berke Brethed christmas book from a few years back.

Its days like this I wish I knew Photoshop so I could do a good ripple-effect. I'd really like to do it like what you see in The Matrix.\r\n\r\nOK, I really liked The Matrix Reloaded. What I liked more though was the idea of reality being unreal, and mutable. What may be the way out, or an answer to a problem may in fact not be. Maybe one has to look beyond what is in front of us and try to alter the landscape. Make your own answers.\r\n\r\nAt least I didn't just put Terminotter in front of a bunch of vertical green symbols. I think its been done by a few people now. :)\r\n\r\nOh, it also shows off TermieOtter's full form. You can better see how he's something of an otter-orca hybrid.

My new character (of a few months) Terminotter. I wanted to have something that shows off his very flexable paws. He's liquid metal, but keeps the paws smooth and their base metallic colour.\r\n\r\nI wanted to show him looking a little dangerous. Its not something I often show. I was thinking of a cyberpunk book I read where one character had a fake finger with a monofilliment wire inside. I thought the otter could do the same, but with his finger.

Final concept for the Werephin (idea is based upon a story by Divigon). This is actually part (#5) of a 6-pic TF sequence that's on my website or on TransFur.com

Clearing out some old stuff here. I was trying to do a were-dolphin TF sequence. This was the first attempt at the final form.\r\n\r\nInterestingly it was through this project that I decided to start drawing cetaceans with a tail that was a continuation of their main trunk (more accurate) as opposed to just being tacked onto their rear.

Another pic done around the same time after graduation. A feeling of freedom. I wanted to somehow do it as a transformation-theme so I thought of an swan-dive, the character changing into an otter, the changes starting and advanging the fastest from the leading edge of his fall (chest and stomach)

Did this after graduating. I was in an odd mood. Feeling free, yet still in some ways trapped or constrained. The file title is taken from a Berke Brethed book.

OK, I got really cheesed off about a month ago when someone E-mailed me out of the blue and decided to tell me what I was like based on what drawings I've posted. This was the response to that. \r\nThe symbolism is pretty blatant. What the bull head says isn't really important. The thing that gets me is that what one expresses through one outlet is not the sum of the person. I'm a scientist, worried about politics and how things are shown / constructed in the media. I've written many stories in the past, none sexual. Yet by a couple pictures someone knew what I was probably like. Yeah, right!\r\n\r\nBTW, for the record, this is the first picture I've ever posted with spooge in it. I figured it was OK to make a point. Also, the latin on the bottom half roughly translates to "let it all hang out".

Request picture from which Kassa came about. I'm not that familiar with inflation / deflation things really, but I had a fun time trying to imagine how a partly deflated character would look.\r\n\r\nI don't know. I've had a few requests to do a series of these two, but time is really tight and there are so many other things I'd like to draw.

So, I was talking with a friend that really likes inflated characters, and he suggests a picture with an inflated orca and wolf. I kind of liked the orca so I think I'll develop her a bit more over time, possibly a recurring character.\r\n\r\nThe name is based off Russian for orca (according to one site), but with several modifications.

Gift for a friend and really great artist. He / I wanted to do a yiff piece with two otters using their finger-webs. A coloured version (by someone else) is on my website. I'd hope to colour and sell this one eventually.

Comisssion/request for a friend of his character. I'm not too taken with how the legs came out but the face and upper body came out pretty good. Hopefully Keet likes it. He's a nice collie.

I've been thinking a lot about a "personal furry" and a bull just doesn't suit me. I'm still deciding on it, but its either an otter or an orca, so I tried a combination of both. His lower arms and hands are still metallic so you know he's still the liquid-metal shapeshifter (which I see as also having some personal connotations, as I've ruminated on in my LJ).\r\n\r\nAs a personal furry I decided to make the build as close to reality as possible. So, I took a slightly slouched pose and went off of that, trying for some accuracy.

I really like a lot of Amber Panyko's stuff. Not just the art, but the chracters and concepts in a number of them. In particular I like Perl because she's a squid that actually looks quite cute. This is just the coloured version of a picture I posted earlier.\r\n\r\nPerl copyright Amber M. Panyko

Done when feeling a little stressed and torn between 5-10 different things. Termy shows this by a little problem with blebbing off of bits of him as he tries to pull it all together again.\r\nBlebbing if I remember right is a process that occurs with cells when they have comitted to apoptosis (controlled cell death). No, that doesn't make this a depressing picture, just giving some background on the name. :)

Hope the scan is OK....\r\nI want to do some gift art for some people. The problem is there's so many here whose work I admire.\r\n\r\nThe one character I've really wanted to draw for a while now is Amber Paynko's Perl. I just really thought she was a neat character. And not enough people draw squid morphs. Well, not cute ones.\r\n\r\nThere's probably a couple other characters of hers that I also find interesting, but I AM sort of busy these days. That's also why this isn't in colour, yet.

The poem should be public domain by now. Its on the back of the Canadian $10 bill. :)\r\n\r\nSometimes life throws symbolism right at you. That happened today. To explain for those in other countries, Rememberence day is a day for honoring those that fought in past wars. In Canada (don't know about elsewhere) most people wear a poppy to commemorate the day. The tradition is based on the poem I think.\r\n\r\nOn the way home from the lab it was snowing lightly and I saw this forgotten poppy sticking out of snow exactly as in the picture, a little snow collecting on top.\r\n\r\nWas it forgotten? I don't know. It should not be buried though.

No its not angsty. Actually I came up with this when I was in a good mood. To explain, Termy (my liquid metal moo) feels like giving from the heart, doing nice things for people and the like. Sometimes the feelings take physical form. This has led to some misunderstandings in that this looks like it might be out of a horror movie when in fact he's in a happy mood.\r\n\r\nThough maybe if I didn't make Termy look creepy like this I might get more trades or talk to more people. Still, with him I try to think though how a liquid-ish being may react to things.\r\n\r\nThis was originally a quick sketch that I inked. Didn't look to good so I started fiddling around with trying to do chrome effects. In the end I sorta like it.

Trade with Ebby. Very nice person indeed. Thanks. :)\r\n\r\nFor my half I didn't want to do a plain 'ole pose or anything like that. So I saw Ebby was drawn as either anthro or non-morphic. So I thought to use a "were" theme and incorporate both form into the same picture looking back at one another. Some of the limbs on the non-morphic tiger could be a bit better though.\r\n\r\nOn a totally unrelated note.... updated my website www.Furnation.com/Terminotaur
