A gift pic for a friend that gave me the idea for a series of pictures.\r\n\r\nTo explain.... Terminotaur is liquid metal so even when trying to be solid he's usually a little squishy. Sometimes if someone sits down on him he'll get sorta liquidy to give a better place to sit. In this one he's got a little too liquidy and the dragon sitting down has got his legs sorta through Termy's.\r\n\r\nThis pic was NOT meant to be yiffy in any sort of way, just to try and illustrate Termy offering a soft seat. If it were yiff the poses would be different than this!

One of the two pictures or so I did at Anthrocon this year. (Another year with no sketchbook trades, oh, whee. What a wonderful wonderful thing shyness is.).\r\n\r\nThis is an updated version of my main character Terminotaur, hopefully showing in part his liquidy nature to a degree. The look on his face sorta summed up my mood on the first two days of the con.\r\n\r\nOh, and even though naked (gasp!) Termy has no equipment. Hey, he's liquid metal. If he needs 'em he'll make 'em. I guess I've just not been wanting to do any yiffy pictures of late. Just so many doing that right now it seems I want to pull away from adding to it. I'll probably do an adult version of this pic sometime, and I won't swear off yiff completely, but I want to tone it back some.\r\n\r\nI really wish I had the time to learn Photoshop. This would look good in metallics.

Art trade with Lurath. She already posted the very nice otter she drew for me. This is my half.\r\nShe asked for a picture of her character (weasel) in winter colours. I didn't want to just do a plain 'ole pose so I came up with this teeny joke.

Image: Lockjaw1-ds.jpg   668x480 54401 bytes 2002.08.18

My attempt at drawing one of Allison Theus' lockjaw creatures for an art trade (thank you VERY much). This one looks over a cliff possibly sizing up some soon to be prey.\r\nActually, I really really liked drawing this guy. Very neat creatures. Though for some reason I still tend to think of them as demonic looking bunnies. :) I hope to draw another one soon.

Image: GraspingAtStructure-ds.jpg   537x745 89287 bytes 2002.08.18

I like this picture very much. It's actually also angst-inspired drawing.\r\n\r\nThe idea I had is that much of out life we grasp for structure to describe things and try and reign in chaos. We construct scientific theories, write descriptions and all manner of things to try and give form to chaos. Make it understandable and comfortable. Much of what we know though is very tenuous and we barely hold onto structure in the face of chaos in many things.

OK, sorta blunt, but there's a story here.\r\n\r\nA while back I was feeling very low. At this time I got a nice little flyer inserted in my mailbox telling me how I was a pervert, a corrupter of the innocent, and all sorts of nasty things by people preaching supposidly in the name of a deity that loves me.\r\n I drew this as my response, even if only I saw it. This is the part I didn't get. An omniscient being hears and knows all. When you say these things that do hurt to others, who all is getting hurt? Isn't it not better to encourage love?\r\n\r\nOK, enough of my rambling.

Image: TermyBadge2002-ds.jpg   479x354 27124 bytes 2002.08.18

Finally did my own con badge in advance of the con. Good thing too as this year the AC con badges were plastic with no insert to deface.

Image: TailTickle-ds.jpg   528x730 43226 bytes 2002.08.18

In about three seconds this touching moment is going to degenerate into a free-for-all tickle fight.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002.

Image: Otterpaws2-ds.jpg   394x458 29414 bytes 2002.08.18

Okay, tried to do a waaaay too cute otter with hands against the glass/window. Came out sorta nice.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002. Thanks to the person who bought it. Actually, if the person that bought it sees this, then get hold of me.

Image: EarlyWerewolfTF-ds.jpg   594x775 38357 bytes 2002.08.18

I wanted to do something dofferent for a werewolf pic so I tried doing one in the earlier stages, before the fur, just as some structures are changing and stretching. I need to do more Transformation pictures, but I always find them hard to do.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002. Thank you to the person who bought it.

Image: OtterInspector-ds.jpg   425x581 36172 bytes 2002.08.18

Random picture of an otter at the top of a waterslide.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002.

Image: BunnyOnTheFullCabbage-ds.jpg   539x687 52452 bytes 2002.08.18

OK, sorta a dumb idea. Based on the pics of some character lying out on some pillows or something else like that.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002.

Image: LabUnpracticalJokes-ds.jpg   499x398 28612 bytes 2002.08.18

Idea I had while in the lab. What would be one of the dumber jokes for a fur to do in such a situation. This is pretty far up the list.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002. Thank you to the person who bought it.

Image: BALBsee-ds.jpg   419x593 49377 bytes 2002.08.18

Coloured version of a pic I posted earlier. Some with a science background may understand the title.\r\n The idea was a researcher (mice have been used in research a long time, just not in this way) working in a VR lab with a variety of projected screens as she tries to engineer a new protein for a patient. She's having a few problems because her latest attempt would have created a protein the immune system would detect.\r\n\r\nPic was displayed at AC 2002, not sold.

OK, last minute upload of another picture going into the Anthrocon art show this year. A nice anthro horse that fades into (or out of) existance.\r\n\r\nBy the way I love to do trades (hint hint). Every year I get next to no such trades (hint hint). Probably because its hard for me to ask anyone (hint hint). :)

Image: Termy30-ds.jpg   462x371 25167 bytes 2002.06.10

Back in Feb. I "celebrated" my 30th birthday. This pretty much sums up my feelings of the day. can't say as my attitude has changed much since that day.\r\n\r\nThe slight melting of Termy's features is intentional.

Image: skunkcombover-ds.jpg   497x679 36380 bytes 2002.06.10

I was told to draw a skunk, but I needed some sort of idea. Just another random idea. Not going on sale anywhere (not that anyone would want it)

Image: unicornc-ds.jpg   393x579 34832 bytes 2002.06.10

An older picture NOT for sale, but for a friend.

Image: wolfy-ds.jpg   361x521 31887 bytes 2002.06.10

This was just a random sketch but as I picked at it it started to look not too bad. Yup, this one is also going into the Anthrocon art show.\r\n\r\nI really don't usually do these things with the multi-breasted females, but I thought I'd give it a try once. There, I've done it, I can go do other things now. :)

Image: raccoondance1c-ds.jpg   362x521 29891 bytes 2002.06.10

Going to Anthrocon as well. I need to darken up her paws a bit, and will probably do some pencil work to make the fur look a little less flat.

Image: standardbearer-ds.jpg   358x516 24690 bytes 2002.06.10

Another older picture coloured and going to Anthrocon this year. Plain yiff. Can't say much more than that.

Image: shipspool-ds.jpg   365x502 32824 bytes 2002.06.10

Again, the colours washed out a tad. Again, for sale at Anthrocon. Again, as with some of the other recent uploads its a dolphin. This time its a female though.

Image: sharkbeachc-ds.jpg   363x521 27608 bytes 2002.06.10

Older picture and joke that I coloured (and also going to Anthrocon art show). The scan unfortunately didn't come out that well. Colour looks a little washed out.

Image: proudasakitsune2-ds.jpg   372x516 34467 bytes 2002.06.10

...and second in the series. I like working with tails like this sometimes as you can do some interesting things with them.\r\n\r\nAs with the other one, its also going on sale at Anthrocon.

Image: proudasakitsune1-ds.jpg   372x520 29373 bytes 2002.06.10

OK,I sorta like how this series of two pics came out. It was an idea for a male kitsune, holding his tails like a peacock fan. Not too bad for rarely drawing foxes.\r\nAfter this one I got the idea for a second pose.\r\n\r\nBoth also going to the Anthrocon art show.

Image: Leopard1c-ds.jpg   370x520 48826 bytes 2002.06.10

OK, this one turned out a bit better. Sort of loosely based on a suggestion from someone. This one's also going for sale at Anthrocon.\r\nNo comments other than that. Its just a plain 'ole pose after all.

Image: lonehunterc-ds.jpg   361x502 32766 bytes 2002.06.10

Mayhap the contrast was a bit high on this one. Also hopefully for sale at Anthrocon this year. A lone male lion bringing home the prey. I say lone hunter because if he were part of a pride it'd probably be the lionesses doing this.

Image: goingsomewhere-ds.jpg   366x521 50358 bytes 2002.06.10

OK, some more recent stuff that I hope to put in this year's art show at Anthrocon. I guess this was just a random idea based on the old story of the minotaur in the maze where our hero uses a line to find his way out. Well, it didn't work this time.\r\nActually, I was thinking of it more as a cheap tourist attraction now (hence the wall plaques). Background isn't quite what I'd hoped for though.

Image: wonderfuldayc-ds.jpg   400x569 23719 bytes 2002.06.08

This one I thought was pretty simple, yet I was surprised at the bidding that went on for it. Thanks to the person that bought it BTW. :)\r\nWith this one I wanted something simple, just a happy deer. Not happy with anything in particular, or yiffy, just plain happy. Plain and simple. We've all had those days where things just feel GOOD. I don't personally get them very often (quite a rarity actually) so I think I've been a bit more aware of the few I have had.

Image: gentlebullc-ds.jpg   420x576 32617 bytes 2002.06.08

And now to some hooved mammals. This one was just a random thought. Sorta thought about the story of Ferdinand the bull. Most minotaur pics I've seen tend to be lots of virility and testosterone in the pose. Nothing exactly wrong with that, but I thought I'd try something on the more gentle side. (also sold at Anthrocon)
