Experimenting with a new way of drawing otters. I should have made him a little more innocent I suppose.

Random picture of an otter at the top of a waterslide.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002.

Okay, tried to do a waaaay too cute otter with hands against the glass/window. Came out sorta nice.\r\n\r\nSold at AC 2002. Thanks to the person who bought it. Actually, if the person that bought it sees this, then get hold of me.

Just a practice picture really, trying two things that I have problems with, hands and some level of foreshortning.

An early pose for the leatherotter pic that I posted here. He came out well enough I decided to finish him. The full background pic is likely to be submitted to a 'zine. I may colour this one for a print or auction.\n

Also sold at Anthrocon. As I've said before I really like otters. Very basic pose. My markers were actually drying out on this, but oddly the effect/result looks nice to me.

Commission picture of Parthec, a liquid metal panther character. I tried doing a few different colouring effects to show that.\r\n\r\nParthec copyright Lurdanjo.

Hope the scan is OK....\r\nI want to do some gift art for some people. The problem is there's so many here whose work I admire.\r\n\r\nThe one character I've really wanted to draw for a while now is Amber Paynko's Perl. I just really thought she was a neat character. And not enough people draw squid morphs. Well, not cute ones.\r\n\r\nThere's probably a couple other characters of hers that I also find interesting, but I AM sort of busy these days. That's also why this isn't in colour, yet.

I really like a lot of Amber Panyko's stuff. Not just the art, but the chracters and concepts in a number of them. In particular I like Perl because she's a squid that actually looks quite cute. This is just the coloured version of a picture I posted earlier.\r\n\r\nPerl copyright Amber M. Panyko

Image: PreDolphin-ds.jpg   619x870 88022 bytes 2005.10.10

Transformation picture attempt here of someone changing into a dolphin. The hardest thing with such a character is how to work the tail (which is continuous with the torso) with the muscles of the seat and legs. The only way I could think about covering this is th have the seat starting to merge into the extending tail/torso.

Another commission request from Lurdanjo, of Terminotter being protective. This was the general request. I was sure they wanted some of the liquid metal effect thing, so I decided to have Termy doing a version of a shield with his hand.

OK,I sorta like how this series of two pics came out. It was an idea for a male kitsune, holding his tails like a peacock fan. Not too bad for rarely drawing foxes.\r\nAfter this one I got the idea for a second pose.\r\n\r\nBoth also going to the Anthrocon art show.

...and second in the series. I like working with tails like this sometimes as you can do some interesting things with them.\r\n\r\nAs with the other one, its also going on sale at Anthrocon.

OK, some problems with the background before, so hopefully it will work now that the contrast was ramped to maximum. This is probably the last picture in a series idea I had for something like the "dance of the 7 veils", except with raccoons and trash cans. :)

Going to Anthrocon as well. I need to darken up her paws a bit, and will probably do some pencil work to make the fur look a little less flat.

"Care for a bit 'O tail?" Silly roo pose. Also taking this one to Anthrocon 06

In the last little while Iíve been trying to take more time to plan and draw out characters as I try to improve myself. This was my first attempt at taking more time. Iím quite pleased. This may become part of a transformation series. It was also drawn for a trade Iím working on.

Art trade with Lurath. She already posted the very nice otter she drew for me. This is my half.\r\nShe asked for a picture of her character (weasel) in winter colours. I didn't want to just do a plain 'ole pose so I came up with this teeny joke.

Fourth in the aquatic morphs I'm doing (if anyone's paying attention or not) a shark morph going to the beach. The caption says the rest. I hope to colour this one later too.\n
