No its not angsty. Actually I came up with this when I was in a good mood. To explain, Termy (my liquid metal moo) feels like giving from the heart, doing nice things for people and the like. Sometimes the feelings take physical form. This has led to some misunderstandings in that this looks like it might be out of a horror movie when in fact he's in a happy mood.\r\n\r\nThough maybe if I didn't make Termy look creepy like this I might get more trades or talk to more people. Still, with him I try to think though how a liquid-ish being may react to things.\r\n\r\nThis was originally a quick sketch that I inked. Didn't look to good so I started fiddling around with trying to do chrome effects. In the end I sorta like it.

HELP with colouring please! I've been working on learning Adobe GoLive to create my new website, and as such have to wait until I can learn Photoshop too. This is to be the links page graphic. I want to make Termy look somewhat metallic but can't quite do it with traditional media. If anyone has the inclination or time please get hold of me. (don't try to do it on this posted image)

Though by all accounts the original passed the criteria for upload, unless it was a judgement call on the material. Well, I inked it now so I could post it withe big boys now (the Sketches section being so popular that nobody I talked to had heard of it). I finished this so I could post the comment I put with the original that was sent back to me......\r\n Well, for those that love to so loudly proclaim their hate of angst you can leave now..... After a while of drawing and posting I've started to wonder if any of its any good. I know I'm told you draw because you want to, but this always seemed a little off the mark. Any art is a personal thing, but it is also an attempt to communicate it as well. Its a very VERY rare occurance to get any feedback from posted material. Rarer still is a request to do a trade, comission, etc. In a vaccuum like that after a while you start to wonder if you're one of the many that are religated to the various kill floors of sieve programs.

Commission request from Windmist to draw two of his characters, Windmist and Cedarpaw in a scene from a story. In this picture (1 of 2) Cedarpaw (the fox) is quite distraught over a recent traumatic event and has run into his friend Windy and his holding him in one of those tight desperate hugs people do when they're trying to hold on to something positive.\r\n\r\nWindmist and Cedarpaw copyright Windmist

Picture 2 of 2 commissioned by Windmist.\r\n\r\nThings have got a little better for Cedarpaw, having been reassured a bit. Here the two just relax in the start of a fairly innocent snuggle.\r\n\r\nWindmist and Cedarpaw copyright Windmist.

Two characters Iím hoping to develop a webcomic around. Toby (the orca) and Sam (the otter) were an idea that occurred to me on a trip to Vancouver. After doing one picture of the two I stared at it for a while, and things just clicked. I knew their backgrounds and had way more than a few ideas for a comic. Most of these were written out over some salmon sushi at a small fast-food place.

Another picture of the two as I tried to get their looks down a bit better. Poses still arenít that great.

Image: TobyandSam3-ds.gif   583x800 29653 bytes 2003.08.14

Yet another picture of the happy couple. This is just about my favourite picture of them to date.

Image: TobyandSam4-ds.gif   800x514 26774 bytes 2003.08.14

OK, a little more sexy than I normally draw. Oh the wonders of orca tail and otter flexibility. Hard to get these angles right (I still have problems with some of them, but after 8 modifications to Samís pose I thought that was enough). I really like how Tobyís head came out in this one.\r\n\r\nI did a few more sex scenes between the two on my website ( ). What can I say I was in a mood to draw such. Also, the two hold some extra meaning to me now.\r\n

Image: TobyCharacterSheet-ds.gif   561x800 35126 bytes 2003.08.14

I did a character sheet for Toby (Samís is coming) because heís a little more ďchallengingĒ to draw and has more things that are different compared to a typical anthro morph. Of particular note his tail is actually an extension of his torso, and thus some things are shifted in their positioning.

OK, I got really cheesed off about a month ago when someone E-mailed me out of the blue and decided to tell me what I was like based on what drawings I've posted. This was the response to that. \r\nThe symbolism is pretty blatant. What the bull head says isn't really important. The thing that gets me is that what one expresses through one outlet is not the sum of the person. I'm a scientist, worried about politics and how things are shown / constructed in the media. I've written many stories in the past, none sexual. Yet by a couple pictures someone knew what I was probably like. Yeah, right!\r\n\r\nBTW, for the record, this is the first picture I've ever posted with spooge in it. I figured it was OK to make a point. Also, the latin on the bottom half roughly translates to "let it all hang out".

Image: Underwater_Fight-ds.jpg   568x824 148785 bytes 2004.09.16

A commission picture of an underwater fight scene between two factions; seals and otters. I found this one interesting because I wanted to give each group different breathing aparatus. So, it seemed more probable to give the more land-based otters a more traditional tank system, while the seals have a smaller mouth-breather, ala James Bond.

Image: unicorn-ds.jpg   654x928 93665 bytes 2001.07.02

A tasteful nude shot of a male unicorn. Really, the only reason anything's showing is because I didn't want to pose the leg any higher. This sketch came out a lot better than I'd expected so I think I'll be colouring it for hopeful sale at Anthrocon

Image: unicornc-ds.jpg   393x579 34832 bytes 2002.06.10

An older picture NOT for sale, but for a friend.

Okay, this sorta sounds like a good idea. Not my best, but I sketched and inked this at work today between incubation steps. Hopefully I've followed all the rules (we didn't have to mail 'em to you did we?). Couldn't resist going for a cheap pun with Termy. :)\r\n\r\nFor those wondering what's goin' on, refer to C'mon, join in. :)

Clearing out some old stuff here. I was trying to do a were-dolphin TF sequence. This was the first attempt at the final form.\r\n\r\nInterestingly it was through this project that I decided to start drawing cetaceans with a tail that was a continuation of their main trunk (more accurate) as opposed to just being tacked onto their rear.

Final concept for the Werephin (idea is based upon a story by Divigon). This is actually part (#5) of a 6-pic TF sequence that's on my website or on

OK, sorta blunt, but there's a story here.\r\n\r\nA while back I was feeling very low. At this time I got a nice little flyer inserted in my mailbox telling me how I was a pervert, a corrupter of the innocent, and all sorts of nasty things by people preaching supposidly in the name of a deity that loves me.\r\n I drew this as my response, even if only I saw it. This is the part I didn't get. An omniscient being hears and knows all. When you say these things that do hurt to others, who all is getting hurt? Isn't it not better to encourage love?\r\n\r\nOK, enough of my rambling.

Image: Whyt-ds.jpg   570x742 43492 bytes 2001.10.22

Oookay, this was to be a trade with someone, a picture of their character. Unfortunately I've not heard back from them in a little while. I'm sorta hoping they see this and contact me.

Image: Windmist2005-ds.jpg   800x1000 59073 bytes 2005.10.10

With the two commissions I figured I'd do Windy an extra picture, and we decided on a basic character picture.\r\n\r\nWindmist copyright his player.
