I teased him about only drawing women with guns, and he retaliated with a jibe about my sticking to animals . . . so I combined the two into this. Shh, don't tell him about it . . . it's gonna be a surprise. Anyone have any color suggestions for her outfit? Jes the colored version of the linework I posted earlier, with some legs and forelegs added, as suggested by some very good critiques . . . Someone actually colored the linework and sent it to me! If I knew of a place where you could get custom cards done (and I don't mean the backs, there are a million places that do that kind of thing) I would probably design a set. Or at least the face cards.

When I first started doing furries, they all had a very stylised quality similar to this one. When I look at this now, I get this horrible urge to cringe at the (seemingly, to me at least) glaringly obvious mistakes. But others seem to like it, so I am putting it up anyway. It all started when I drew myself as a "smart ass", or an intelligent donkey . . . and then someone drew me with a coon mask . . . and the rest is history.). I love this character. I used to love it though. Heh. Anyway, my sister showed me the ixi, and I had to get two, they are just so cool looking . . . and this is my blue boy, W_Dervish, W for Whirling. I am really quite proud of the inking job on this one, but I need to do some more work on the color. Much too pale. Markers/microns/prismapencils on cardstock, Image is © Terzy.
	Image: jules'_sis.jpg 613x802 79084 bytes 2002.07.03 This is the first pic I ever did of Sadie; I wanted to do a character who was oddly colored, with mixed species. She is the result. I at first only created her as a sister for Jules (the green fennec kitsune), but I have come to regard her as a personal character. Mercedes embodies my brighter, more vibrant side, my silly/flirty/happy-go-lucky side, while Terzy is muxh more down to earth, mature, contemplative, with a dryer and more subtle sense of humor; she is an intellectual and a philosopher. Really, I am a pretty even mizture of both. It surprises people sometimes, especially in school . . . example, in my chemistry class, I was usually sadie-ish, but then one day Terzy would pop up, and people would regard me with the most astonished looks . . they are used to my giddy hyperactivity, and here I am now, discussing Joseph Campbell and Transcendentalism. What fun.
