This is a random gift I did for the VCL artist Luve (http://vcl.ctrl-c.liu.se/vcl/Artists/Luve-Vexzeklium/ ). Just saw her stuff last night, liked the character, started scribblin' . . . soon it became an actual piece! She liked it, which made me happy ^^

A surprise gift for my dear Ironbadger. He is such a sweetheart! See, he asked me to do a trade, and my half is the nude badger found in my adult section. Then he sends me a beautiful pic of Terzy, with a whole backgrou7nd and everything. I felt bad that mine didnt have a b/g, but he said that since mine was on bigger paper, it made up for it . . . no. I felt compelled to do him another one . . . and he has told me that he likes costue, and even studied historic fashion, so here is his favorite animal in medieval garb. Yay! I really am pleased with the b/g on this, even if it IS tiny.

This is the finished version of the pic I posted earlier . . . I am really quite pleased with how she came out, especially the background. Her left (our right) leg seems off to me though. This is a gift I did for the very talented and friendly Kitty Youngpeter (http://vcl.ctrl-c.liu.se/vcl/Artists/Kitty-Youngpeter/ . . . go check her out, she's frikkin' awesome.), of her very cool character, Pawn. He is a goldfish/chess piece hybrid. Is that not just the coolest idea EVER? I thought so too. Anyway, I just had to do something with him. And the coolest thing is, she is gonna draw Sabine for me! Glee!

Jes' a phunkee punkee munkee I did for a guy in school . . .. no, this is not supposed to be Greenmonkey. I just asked the guy, "What color?" and he happened to want green. So. I have never tried to draw anything in a "punk-rock" style like the guy wanted . . . so when I finished the sketch, I showed it to a punk-rocker friend, and he actually said: "Kelly, if you ever show me that again, I will smack you." So I guess it isn't "right" according to the source of inspiration. Too cliche'd, perhaps? Oh well.

Almost-finished pic of Sadie, my snow leopard/fennec character, at a rave or somethng. She doesnt usually have wings, but there was just too much negative space behing her back for my tastes, and besides, I have been wanting to draw some bitty wings. Her pants didnt come out quite the way I had envisioned them, but I think I got the effect I was going for to a degree at least . . . . in case you cant tell, one side is supposed to look like a starscape, while the other is more . . . well, like a computer chip, or something all technologicalish. This is based of a photo that Raynflower (aka Lemur Kat) sent me, after a post by me on the Furbid message boards. I said I would furrify a few pictures, if the people would send them in . . . after a few alterations (I took off her clothes o.0' and moved her feet a bit), voila! a picture of a nekkid Lemur in a tree. With BOOTS! Huzzah. Image © Terzy, and since this isnt actually her character. just her as a lemur, I dont think there can be any © on the character itself. Hmm.

Just my take on the term 'red panda'. Her eye got some red in it, making her look like she has pink eye, and her belly-button appears deep enough to hold a grapefruit comfortably, but . . . . I still like it. Prismacolor markers on printer paper. Image is © to Terzy

This is the finished piece that the friendly and talented Rey Fox commissioned from me . . . took a while to get it right, but I got it right! And he did a lovely surprise pic of Terzy for me, of her drawing on the sidewalk. Anyway . . . I wish I had a detail picture of his face, I am relly quite proud of how it came out. Maybe I'll email him and see if he cant send one to me. Yes. Good.

A chiq at school saw the pic I did for Luve, and was wild to get one like it, only a cat instead of a wolf. She was also very into the pupil-less thing too . . . I personally would like to put pupils on her, but, meh . . . she gave me a dollar ^^ I am SUCH a softie when it comes to art trades and the like . . . I mean, I just sold a commission for $30, of this quality work, and did this one for a buck . . . I think as the school year continues, I will gradually raise my prices. It is really a spur of the moment thing . . . like, this guy has been on me to finish this picture of a punk monkey for the past week, while the pic below this was conceptualized and completed all in the same day. Greif. I have been roped into doing pictures for practically everybody at school . . . but since most of them are my close friends, I dont really mind. This is for mah buddy, Elizabeth . . . this outfit is very similar to one she wore to the Rocky Horror Picture Show (the home of happiness is under Janets hat! woo!), and we called her "The Schoolgirl Slut". So here she is, all dolled up and lookin slut-tay. I am uber-happy with the color scheme on this, esp. the skirt.
