A classic Native American tale I illustrated, where Coyote and Old man Nulakinah have been caught in the Thunderbird's nest, and must devise a plan to escape before they're eaten.

A comic storyboard idea, where I use a classic hero to introduce MY cool hero, a stylin' Anubis like, jackal humanoid who has some interesting powers and goes temporarily insane, when he drains a person's soul, and he's got a long history of past lives, all sworn to protect a certain human gal. It would make a fun comic if I ever find the time to do it.

A Gnoll gladiator, Grishnak, and a barbarian shaman, Greynorth Fen, stand back to back. Gnoll's are basically hyena humanoids, in the world of Dungeons and Dragons.

Chanta Ra, as a flind, in his 2nd edition Dungeons and Dragons incarnation. Chanta Ra was a lone flind cub found on a battle field by gypsies, and raised among these humans and elves as a side show, imitating an Egyptian god. His gypsie family was slaghtered though, and he wandered a long time, dragging the decaying bodies of his parents, hoping a human village would "Wake them up".. but he was only chased out with stones and arrows upon each village he tried to enter. Chanta Ra starved, began going more and more insane, speaking with the "Voices" of his parents, yet somehow survived the desert...

Chanta Ra, the happy, shakespearian, insane, Flind, in his "King of Jesters" costume he made. With this ingenious disguise, he can now enter human villages and NOT have stones and arrows shot at him! though he still scares small children, the human villagers and guards don't know what to think of him, which provides the perfect opportunity...

A beauty and the beast kind of picture, with Anubis like jackal and human: It's an image of my good friend Delouris with Chanta Ra, romancing in the moon light one RP session, Chanta's kind, gentlemanly words at this moment were, "My dear, you and I are like Beauty and Beast.. ofcourse, if anyone ever calls you beast, I'll RIP THEIR BLOODY THROAT out!"

Three tailed Kitsune... or is she a Nogitsune? Karyana has quite a dark edge to her.

This WHOLE comic is tribute to a genius of comic writing, Jonen Vasquez. Buy his books! Demand TV networks put Invader Zim back on the air! (it would help if I picked up my Johnny the Homicidal Maniac omnibus and looked for the proper spelling of his name.) Victim stereotype is ripped off from JTHM. Neither Chanta Ra nor I have anything against Cheer leaders/girls with fashion sense. (Geez, having to tell people I only draw morbid things and don't actually have something horribly wrong--or THINK of doing something horribly wrong--against people in real life, MAN! Now I know how Jonen Vasquez feels! sadly, we live in an age where people think they know anything about a guy based on what kind of stuff he draws) Johnny The Homicidal Maniac is copy right Slave Labor Graphics.

The Phoenix! Hermaphroditic Goddess of beauty, immortality.. and control of such elements as fire--as shown from Arabic, Egyptian, and European.. and even Chinese mythology. (and probably the only hermaphrodite image I've done that I can get away with putting in the public section... but ain't she cute?) can't believe I forgot to put this one up a while back.
