OLD 2005 - I never posted this anywhere and found it while cleaning up some files.

This was meant to be a season's greetings card in 05, but things with printers started sucking so they never got mailed out, and the image sunk to the bottom of the folders.

"Weißt du wer ich bin?"

Doodled this during anthropology... took an hour and a half... kind surprised me how fast i did it. O_o

Inspired by a song by a band called Spliff. They are funky german. The song is called Herzlichen Glückwunsch, and from what I can tell, it seems to be about a kid that burns down his house... or someone is telling him to. And in the song it asks, "Weißt du wer ich bin?" which means, "Do you know who I am?"

A kick ass song, but I don't know why it's called "Congratulations!"

Anywho... it kind of made me think of a demon in disguise and then revealing himself after his influence has achieved it's goal... and had it stuck in my head during anthro. So I drew a demony guy singing the song.

This is a massive gift to my love, Ryan. This is his character, the anthropomorphic Jackal, Stormwulf, slaying icky spiders because I hate spiders. His eyes are on fire because he always thought it would be cool to have flaming eyes. The title is an inside joke between us... This was a large project, since I don't usually paint, let alone this large.
