It was started on September 11th 2001; the day of the World Trade Center disaster, and finished three days later on the 14th which was the official day of mourning. Because of that, this 16"x20" painting is rather special to me. A rather sad looking warrior Red Fox sits quietly on ancient stone steps deep within his woodland. One can only guess at what he's thinking. Art and character Š Tina Leyk 2001.

Darkside is a truely evil demon. She attempts to corrupt and turn otherwise good Furs to evil, just so she can enjoy the torment and pain that results. Can Rell resist..? What little flesh remained has now rotted away and has been totally replaced by machine parts. All except for the skull he wears. In this pic', he's been captured by somebody and has been placed in a stasis tank of some sort. Don't worry....nobody can keep him in one place for long. Especially by force. Done with a Pilot V-5 pen on paper, then colored in photoshop. Rell and art Š Tina Leyk. Hands off.

It's been sitting on my hard drive for at least two years, and if I remember right I drew it in homage to my old Avatar design. Minus her wings. Funny how even back then there were mushrooms. lol Started working on finishing it between other things... played with some different techniques and now, finally, I consider it finished.
