Whilst working on story/RPG ideas I thought of backtracking and experiencing some of our character's pasts.  This is StarrLight of Midnight as a teenager, sitting at a school desk in class during the valentine hand out.  It would appear that someone has given her a very special card.  Now who could that be?  =^,^=

This is a picture of Starr in all of her natural radiance and beauty.  I occasionally do nudes to study the form and anatomy of the human body and anthropomorphic likenesses.  Do take note of her cesarean scar.  How that came to be is a long story and hopefully will be described in a short (or full length) story someday.

This pic is one of the Starr Styles series of clothing designs for Starr.  In this case we see her in what was known in the past as her most common outfit (usually referred to as her battle wears).  Low cut T-shirt tied off at mid-drift with a small cape attached at the shoulders and a stylish mini-skirt, so not to hinder her movements.  I should've darkened the linework for the clothing, though.  Maybe Later.

For its time, this wasn't a bad portrait shot of Starr.  Nowadays I seem to be picking up more and more anime influences.  Beit from watching Japanese Animation, admiring Michele Light's amime-ish artwork, or playing video games with an anime flair to them, they're all affecting my artwork in some manner.  Whether or not this is truly a good thing has yet to be seen, but things look promising.

The second pic of Starr as a teenager.  In this one she looks on with soft eyes as she stands in the wind, her skirt, hair, and tail being toussled by the moderate breeze blowing by.  She carries a tome in her arms and has a soft, friendly smile on her face.  Even in her youth she was a proper lady.  =^,^=

Like the previous pic, this was also referenced from Vixey.  Unfortunately I don't have possession of the original pic, so I had to add an all new background.  I purposely made it nothing spectacular, but fitting to Starr (to not outdo current stuff).  I'll just say the original background was a sad early attempt at colored pencils.  Look to Alef Foxy for insight, that is a companion piece that went along with the original of this one.

This pic was referenced from Disney's Vixey from the Fox and the Hound.  Not the cleanest linework nor too pretty effects, but it gets the point accross.  I can definately say that Starr and my artwork in general has progressed through the years into so much more than this.  And I've only just begun.

This pic is one of the Starr Styles series of clothing designs for Starr.  In this case we see her in a stereotypical Arabic design.  Strapless bikini top, small vest, and billowing pants.  I should've darkened the linework for the clothing, though.  Maybe Later.

Here's the ever-dark MoonLight of ClearSky, better known as BlackFox.  As his name implies, he is a jet black furred fox with a personality to match.  In most cases he is considered the very opposite of Aleffe, though deep down there is a troubling past that drives him to the brink of insanity.  Will he ever be able to come to grips with himself, or is he doomed to death by his own dispair?

These are the Midnight Foxes, Starlight and Twilight.  This is the outcome of the semi-realistic versions of Alef and Starr, which became two completely individual characters that were, for the most part, real foxes.  Unfortunately I never really rolled with the idea and it just fizzled out in the end.

This is Uforia, more commonly known as Euf.  Though she isn't my character, I thought it would be interesting to take a shot at drawing her since I had visions dancing around in my head.  Outgrown overalls, bushy hair, comic facial expression.  I tried to make her look as goofy as she was personality wise.  How'd I do?  =^,^=

Damonn's existence, even his race, is shrouded in mystery and secrecy.  Though he'll probably remind a number of people of something out of Disney's Gargoyles, I assure you he has never had anything to do with them.  In fact, he was originally created back in 1988, around half a decade prior to when the aforementioned show was spawned.  Seems to me that a certain company was looking over my shoulder.  *snorts derisively*

Image: Crady2.jpg  (484 x 593) 70653 - 01/12/2000
This is an attempt to put clothing on the previous pic of Crady.  As you can see, leather is VERY difficult to replicate when you don't have a clue about what you're doing (and perhaps even if you do).  The texture on the jeans was really good on the original image format, but turned out really crappy in this JPEG version.  Compression good, quality bad.

This is my one-and-only attempt to draw Crady CrystalFox for a friend.  For only a text description to work with he was rather pleased with the results, and so was I.  I think I may have put a little too much detail into the muscle definition, though (especially for a furry person), but it did help me with anatomy a bit.  =^,^=

Image: AmaniAme.jpg  (350 x 629) 56823 - 01/12/2000
This is the gray wolf Amani Amé, sister to Amarok of Cleariver.  Religious in nature, she is occasionally referred to as the Rainwolf.  Her very existence is threatened by an incurable illness.  Even with God's strength at her side, can she survive the toils of the mortal coil?

Here's Alef turned scholar fox.  Though a really rough sketch (for me, anyway), there was a lot of detail put into this pic.  The pic itself was referenced from the cover of an Aesop's Fables book illustrated by Michael Hague.  I did make a few subtle differences, though.

This is a pencil scan of the updated (second edition - circa 1997) version of Aleffe Points it Out.  This version came along around a year after the original version was concocted (which was late 1996).  If I ever find a copy of the original version, I'll be sure and post that as well.  Unfortunately, the update was drawn over the original (as was the finalé version drawn over the update).

Here's an older pic of a semi-realistic Alef.  This was done years ago, back whilst I was in high school (senior year, I believe).  Alef himself was colored with markers, whilst the background was done (and very crappily, may I note) in colored pencils.  I've certainly come a long way since this pic.
