Finally, something to show for my art trade with MicahFennec. My apologies for taking so long. \r\n\r\nI got the idea to draw a quasi-realistic chinchilla. Just something different, I suppose. I randomly decided to make it a sort-of homage to the whole Godzilla idea, and added in a poorly sketched street and nibbled-on building that I never really intended to finish. I kinda wish I had done something a bit more dynamic - like Godchilla stepping on a car and nibbling on a building or something. Maybe some other time. \r\n\r\nDrawn in pencil, colored with Design Spectracolor colored pencils. I like the overall furry effect, but I'm not too happy with the nose and paws. The eyes are my favorite part. The image was referenced (very loosely) from one of Micah's chinchilla pictures.

Reviving something from the past, I decided I wanted to flesh out the old feoenox. And what exactly is a feoenox (fee-oh-nocks)? Why it's a mythical creature from the ETL Universe (http://etl.fly.to/) comprised of features from a feline, phoenix, and fox. They can have varying results depending on the breeds, but this particular concept is supposed to be based on a specific feoenox named Kysmaryn. Since this is just a conceptual piece, it's far from complete. Obviously I need to work on my wings, among other things.\r\n\r\nKysmaryn and artwork © Vulpes Mundi

An attempt to give Kysmaryn some personality. It would probably do me a lot better to actually complete the design before I start doing poses and such. Silly me. I thought this was cute for a quick sketch, though. =^.^=\r\n\r\nKysmaryn and artwork © Vulpes Mundi

This has been a long time coming. Not only that I draw anything in general, but that I put the way I feel to paper. I sat myself down, put When Thunder Sleeps into the CD player, and this image flowed from within.\r\n\r\nThe image itself is simple. Vulpes stands in the present existence and faces the uncertain future, but his tear-filled eyes look back toward the painful past. Depression threatening to consume him, he seeks that which will end his pain... wherever it may lie.\r\n\r\nVulpes Mundi & artwork © Vulpes Mundi
