I've been feverish the last few says so I haven't been as productive lately as I'd like to be. I have a mountain of work to do before the big move. >_>

Commission for NewEnglander of my character, Shia-Lynn. I find it very flattering when I get commissions to draw my own characters. He told me to draw her in any pose so here she is being her anti stereotypical rabbit self. Is she fighting a swarm of Verin assassins? Or perhaps she is just yelling at her sword.

Sparra Wingshard - Commission

Commission for Sparra Wingshard. Her lovely gryphon character of the same name.

Yay gryphons! I think my favorite commissions to do are the bird/gryphon ones. No surprises there!

Still trying to find a wing style that I am happy with. >_>

Natsumi - Commission

Commission for Ichio2000. His dragoness character, Natsumi.

For some reason, she didn't want me drawing her. I had the hardest time getting this characer down on paper. That aside, I'm happy with how she turned out.

I did a little experamentation with a more limited color palatte in this one.

Akia & Eonis - Commission

Commission for Akia and Eonis of their characters. Akia is the avian critter and Eonis is the naga.

I enjoyed spending a lot of time with the scaling on the naga character.
Other then that... I really wish I had more to say about this one, but I really don't.

MidnightSonata - Commission

For MidnightSonata, her bat character of the same name.
This one was a pleasure, since I really do adore batties! There needs to be more of them in the fandom!

An Articuno (Arica) and an Arbok (Sandern).

When Arica becomes embarrased, she tends to turn into a Giant.

I never really got into Pokemon since they became popular when I was too old to get into that kind of stuff. I don't mind drawing them, though... since I think some of the critter designs are cool.

NiteTigrezz - Charity Commission

The first of two "charity" commissions. Where people nominated someone they know is going through a tough time and I draw their character just to brighten their day. I was originally going to do one of these, but I was between two peope so I decided to do both!

This first one is NiteTigrezz's character, Nite.
She was originally nominated by Syntharia_Desire and her nomination was backed up by Doffra, KayDeeProd, Fluffy-Brat, NeoTechRagu and Thalassa.

Talitha - Commission

This is the second image I've done for an upcoming RPG forum. This particular dragoness is named "Talitha", and from what I understood from the client's e-mails she's going to be a featured character/NPC in the game. She is the daughter of a water dragon and is nearly god-like.

The client requested that the pose and general appearance of the character be copied from a picture that I did back in 2003. It's flattering that someone actually remembers pictures I've done from back then, but my style has changed a lot since then and this isn't the type of pose that I'd normally do nowadays.

I've actually been looking forward to working on this page, since I've had the idea of a stereotypical cartoony short, beardy king and tall, fat queen in mind since the beginning and it always gave me a chuckle to think of it.

Terranus - CS Commission

Another character sheet commission. This one for a meerkat/vampire character named Terranus.

This was the first time that I've drawn a meerkat, so Wikipedia was heavily referenced.

Mayhem Demon - Commission

This is a mayhem demon, which can come into our world by taking over the body of an individual and eventually forming it's own body over the victim, forever trapping the poor soul inside. The client gave me very specific guidelines for what this species looks like and I went from there.

Lucy - Character Sheet Commission

I'm just going to come out and say it. I love this character. It's actually the second time I've drawn her and I had a lot of fun with it both times.

I'll admit that drawing canine characters can be a little monotonous at times, but she has a certain attitude that makes her a lot of fun to work with!

I did most of the design work with the armor under suggestions from the client. Poofy hat FTW!

Fire and Ice - Fantasy Xchange

This was done for this month's Fantasy Art Xchange. The theme for this month was drawing your chosen's character interacting with one of your own characters.

Scar - Commission

Commission piece of a big black dragon named Scar. Scar is often ridden by the king in the world where the client's story takes place.

I was basically given a vague description... black dragon wih golden horns and green eyes and given artisic freedom with designing the character.

I had a lot of fun spending a lot of time with all the scale detailing for this one.

Ferloks - Species Concept Commission

Commission for an RPG forum - their playable dinosaur race, the Ferloks.

The person who commissioned this request that she look like my raptor character, Rikka!

Melrose - FantasyXchange

For *MoldyMuffinz... her dragon character, Melrose VIA the Fantasy Art Xchange. A winter or summer theme was required for this month. My chosen suggested winter.

I've been trying to work more on my backgrounds to create more depth and atmosphere with them. It reminded me that snowy tundra scenes are not a good idea to work with during winter time. It made me cold just thinking about the snowscape. That and I had the crunching of the snow echoing in my ears.

I hate winter... I really, really do.

The faerie thingie was added because I really think the picture was missing something. Though in all reality, Melrose is probably wondering why the shimmering ball with wings is flying inches away from her face.

Avesta - Commission

The last of my artbook commissions. Kirisha's swan character, Avesta.
Fun... since I've never drawn a swan before. Her backwards knees gave me trouble to no end, though. o_O

A Typical Night at the Hospital - Commission

One of the "You provide the character and I provide the content" commissions that I recently offered.

NewEnglander's vampire character, Miranda, raids the local hospitals and blood banks... which is probably a common thing for her to do. I really let my inner horror movie fan come out with this one... but don't worry, all the blood is from the plasma packs. It means that Miranda gets nourishment and nobody dies from vampire bites.

Nurse hat if for humor. My original idea was to dress her in a full nurse outfit, but white clothes on a white character don't look too good.

I tried to play around with mood and shading with this one... in particular, I was inspired by the grittiness and sepiatones of the Saw movies.

This one was fun to do. Bats are always a pleasure to draw.

Athalean - Character Sheet Commission

Commission for a gryphon reference sheet.
This is the English version... I'm also working on a German version VIA the client's request. The German version won't be displayed publicly in my galleries as it's pretty much the same thing only in a different language and most of my watchers don't speak German.

Fun character. I always love getting commissions for gryphons characters, of course. :)

A First Time For Everything - Commission

Commissioned piece for NewEnglander. His vampire character, Miranda, changes into her bat form for the first time... and doesn't even know it! This was a pleasure to do... not only are foods and wines a passion for me, but when he first brought up the idea, I had a vision of Miranda with a e___e face and couldn't stop laughing.

As you can see, Miranda is a vampire that enjoys some of the finer things in life, such as expensive wine. Speaking of... it's a good thing that she didn't drop the glass during her shift. At about $275,000 USD a bottle, she'd probably be very angry about that!

The world needs moar anthro bats!

One of two $40 "dinosaur" commissions that I offered. This one was for Realabayon, a pink parasaur named Gypsie... who is a definate pin-up girl.

Sur'Tal - Fantasy Xchange

For Rabid-Dragoness VIA the Fantasy Xchange Community.

This month's theme was "Halloween", but lordy, lordy... I just could not find the inspiration to draw this character in a costume. Don't get me wrong, I adore the character's design... but a quad dragon in a costume just seems a bit silly for my tastes and I didn't like any of the ideas I came up with. So here's what Sur'Tal would look like if she were to be posessed by a vampire or demon.

Fallen Angel - BAX

The theme for the month of October was to draw your chosen as scary halloween monsters rather then the standard "cosplay" themes a lot of other exchange communities do.

So here is the normally sweet HolyFox with her same colors, markings, and mix of species only transformed into a snarling werewolf-like beast.

Like I mentioned to someone in a comment to one of my previous submissions to FurAffinity: I believe that pink is a more dangerous color then it lets people believe. If a man walks down the street wearing a pink shirt, then people should know that he's not afraid of anything!

Since I know that someone's going to mention this... the character does not have ears!

Tangled - Commission

One of two $40 "dinosaur" commissions that I offered. This one was for RestrainedRaptor.

This was a case of finding a balance between pleasing the client and trying to keep up my policy of "No fetish material" in my art. My original goal was to make him look very playful... which I think I did... but maybe also a bit more suggestive then I would have liked as well. Still a fun character to draw, though. I had a blast with all those little blue stripes. ^_^

Dinosaurs are fun!
