Trill - Commish 2

Second commission of Trill. NewEnglander's singer of yore character who changes into a bluebird.

Trill's half morph stage was originally going to be completely covered in feathers, but she looked too much like a Smurf. I wanted to avoid that because I have a few theories about the Smurfs. It's already obvious that the Smurfs are communists, but I think they're KKK members, too. Why else would they wear the pointy white hats?

Anyways... I like the picture better this way, anyways. It sort of looks like her dress became her feathers. Which is kind of cool, I think. NewEnglander also said that he wanted her to have a pointy noise in the second stage, but I think it might have been cooler to have the teeth form the beak and the lips/nose form the cere.

Yuki DeKay - Anthro Sketch Xchange

DeKay's 'coon/wolf character was my chosen for this month's Anthro Sketch Xchange. The theme for this month was TV/Movie Cosplay and she wanted to be drawn as one of the characters from The Mighty Boosh.

With the exception of Firefly, Chuck, and Primetime cartoons, I don't watch much TV so I had never heard of that show. In fact, even after looking it up on Google and Wikipedia, I still don't think I'm 100% sure about what it is. If I understood Wiki correctly, it's more of a Brittish thing anyways.

Vince did have some fun fashions, so I went with that character.

Anyways... freebie commission for Aidan Gull for getting my 50,000th pageview dA. His seagull character, obviously. This one was fun because I've never drawn a seagull anthro before.

The irony behind this picture is that my dog kept barking at the seagulls in my front yard most of the time that I was working on this pic. I live about 10 miles from the bay/river but seagulls will come this far inland when the nearby farmers till their fields. I don't like it when they come here because they seem to love pooping on my car. :/

Tickle - Commission

Meh... I wasn't sure whether to put this in my commissions folder of my main folder because they're my characters. :/

Once in a blue moon, I get commissions of my own characters in different situations. In this case, the person who commissioned this wanted my fursona being tickled by her husband.

Honestly, I HATE being tickled. If my boyfriend tries tickling me, he more often then not gets an boot to the groin. XD

"Do the Evolution" - Character Shuffle

's shapeshifter character, Sorit VIA the Character Shuffle community. The theme for this month was lyrics and poems. Skulldog didn't specify any particular song.

"Do the Evolution" by Pearl Jam was playing on my iPod at the time I got the email about who I would be drawing this month and it really seemed to fit her character, so I went with it as I figured a song about evolution would be appropriate for a shapeshifter in mid transformation.

Sushi - Commission

Moar commission work of NewEnglander's Werebear character, Sheila. This one was a pleasure as the new season of Deadliest Catch started last week so I've had Alaskan Fishing on the brain anyways. XD

Working on this pic did make me want sushi myself since I haven't had it in a long time.... though alas, the only place in my area that I trust eating sushi from is uber expensive. :/

I tried to make Sheila look as cute as possible.

Doggie Commish Series - Pic 3 - Shepherds

Meh - I had originally planned to finish these guys last weekend. Obviously that didn't happen. :/

Anyways, picture three out of four in a series of commissioned dog pictures that I'm doing for a little girl's room. Like the other pictures in this series I could choose which breed to feature. Both of these breeds (German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd) were suggested by my watchers.

I still have no clue what breeds I want to feature for the final picture...

Doggie Commish Series - Pic 2 - Retrievers

Second in my series of four dog commissions for a little girl's room. I was given full roam with the dog breeds that I chose.

The yellow lab is Cashew, my dog. She's actually a lab/Sher Pei hybrid but she does look mostly labrador (but with a few wrinkles that labs usually don't have). In retrospect, I think I could have made this drawing of her more realistic by adding a puddle of drool and/or drawing her whining because her favorite stuffed animal is under the bed.

The golden retriever is Pfeifer, my Aunt Janie's dog. Pfeifer is a fattie but my Aunt is in denial about it. XD

This series is actually kind of fun. I normally don't get to draw "real" animals without wings or other fantastical features... and when I do, I usually don't post them online.

Doggie Commish Series - Pic 1 - Alaskan Malamutes

First in a series of four commissions featuring dogs. The person who commissioned these is a local woman who wanted a series of dog pictures for her daughter's room.

I have free roam of what dog species to feature. Labrador retrievers are definately going in this series as I want to include my labrador/sharpei mix (who looks mostly lab with a few sharpei features) in this series.

Also, the person who commissioned this specificly said that since these aren't original characters I can sell prints of these to anybody who wants them - so yes... the pictures in these series will be the only commissions that I have made so far that is available as prints to the general public.

Camping - Commission

Commission for NewEnglander of his character, Sheila. A woman who is a real bear every morning until she gets her coffee... literally.

Sheila's always a fun character to draw. Probably because of what NewEnglander said - It's always nice to see an IRS agent get hassled for a change. Almost makes me want to create a bear character of my own.

Fahren - Equine Xchange

I got Dwelian's character, Fahren for the equine exchange this month. I was secretly hoping to get this character because I though she was really cool looking.

Plus she's a warrior and I've always prefered the image of unicorns being a proud, noble beast rather then floofy and pink.
