Talokun Racing - FAX

For Kitsuchi-chan VIA the Fantasy Art Xchange.

This month's theme was "character interaction", which meant that I had to draw my chosen's character with one of my own. I kept racking my brain on how I was going to draw Djali with Liah without making it too boring. So here they are racing on the back of adolescent talokun.

Do not try this at home, kids. Talokun are actually fierce desert predators. They don't normally hunt out humanoids, but will turn any human dumb enough to get close enough to them as a tasty snack. Liah, however, can get away with this since she is a beastmaster. To get a good idea of what her communication is like, watch the movie, Beastmaster.

Djali seems less then enthused about riding on the back of an overgrown gila monster that can outrun a landspeeder.

Commissioned character sheet for Ebon the Barbary Lion. I ended up doing much of this character's physical design work as well.

Based off of the commissioner's Second Life character.

There definately aren't enough sci-fi based anthro characters out there.

Eddy - Equine Art Xchange

For VIA the Equine Art Exchange.

I had fun with this one. I've always thought the "skull critters" that I've seen popping up all over the place were kinda neat, but I never had a reason to draw one until now. ^^

The person who was supposed to draw Aenigmatista's character for last month's fantasy exchange was late turning in their assignment so he was put on the adoption list. I decided to pick up the adoption as my good deed of the month.

The person who was supposed to draw for him last month is saying that the work would be done soon... but since I already had this started and really liked it, I decided to finish it anyways. :p

It's his elf character Lyn'Nen. The theme for last month was music any lyrics. One of the songs on the list was a song about a man being taken by an executioner. The song was not in English or French (It was in Ukranian... I think?), so I couldn't understand the lyrics or even find a translation for them, so I went my the mood of the song.

Commission piece. I like this one, especially the black streaks on the face. Mental note: Must try making a character with those later.

I adoped Erolyn because the person who was suppost to draw her bailed on her.

Faerie Fox Tattoo Designs

Long overdue commission for a fox-faerie tattoo design. I drew three for the person who commissioned it to choose from. I think she's going with the seated fox on the top left, so that one is off limits for others to use as a tattoo because it's meant to be hers and hers alone. However, if for some odd reason somebody wants to use one of the other two foxes as a tattoo, feel free.

Fahren - Equine Xchange

I got Dwelian's character, Fahren for the equine exchange this month. I was secretly hoping to get this character because I though she was really cool looking.

Plus she's a warrior and I've always prefered the image of unicorns being a proud, noble beast rather then floofy and pink.

Fala - Watercolor Painting

Holy crap! Ulario did a real media picture. That must mean that hell has frozen over and the devil is now giving free sleigh rides!

For Awake Till Dawn VIA the Real Mail Exchange. A watercolor painting of her fursona, Fala. It's been about three years since I've even touched watercolor. I enjoy working with it.

I used several experamental techniques for this... such as using raspberry tea as the base for the background.

Meh. My scanner and digicam both like to eat the colors in my watercolor painting. :/

Far Raptor liked that last commission I did for him so much that he ordered another one.

Those are actually his physics notes that I used for the chalkboard.

Those of you that remember the last fursuit concept that I did for far may remember that the body was plain black. The reason for that is that he just wanted the head and hands made into a fursuit. After he recieved the finished product from Lacy, he contacted me again and said that he was going to have the entire body made into a fursuit, so we worked on a more interesting body design hor him.
