The theme for this round was "monsters" and she wanted her Renamon character, Pyre in a scary Digivolved form. Obviously I didn't want to draw him exactly like the renamon in the cartoons because they don't fit my drawing style and they're oo cute to be scary.

Based off of the commissioner's Second Life character.

There definately aren't enough sci-fi based anthro characters out there.

Lionel - Character Sheet Commish

This ended up taking MUCH longer then I normally like commissions to take, but I am pleased with the results. He's a very fun and creative character... plus I've been a bit of a steampunk fan ever since the god ol' days when I used to play Arcanum. It's a genre that I hardly ever get to draw since I'm mostly stuck in my own sci-fi universe.

Trains and manmade objects. Definately NOT my strong point. Period. However, the person who commissioned this really wanted a hover train in the background and I've always believed that artists should always challenge themselves by pushing themselves out of their "comfort zones" so I was willing to give it a shot. I referenced quite a few stock photos of trains for it.

ClockWork Ghost - CS

ClockWork Ghost's character, Ghost VIA the Character Shuffle. No relation to my boyfriend's alter ego, LoTekGhost.

This one was much fun! One of the themes that she suggested was "vintage pin ups" which I'm a big fan of. She also mentioned that her character often wears pinstripes... which I'm also a big fan of. The art nouveau-esqe background was my idea. I figured that I'd add one more thing that I absolutely love to the picture. XD
I'm very happy with how those things mixed together.

It may have ended up being a bit more suggestive then she wanted... but I'm happy with it nonetheless.

She also looks a bit like my character, Liah. Which is very cool.

'Nother commission of NewEnglander's were collie character, Laurie.

This time she is stopping a rock from crushing her flock of sheep. NewEnglander wanted her to be dressed in "She Hulk" type clothing. To durther enhance the she hulk-ness I beefed her up a little more then I usually draw her.

Learning to Fly - Commission

NewEnglander's character, Brenda who is stuck in werebat form until she gets some more funding for her research until she can find a cure. This one was a pleasure to do because I love bats.

Most of this picture was colored in the wee morning hours. Not because of Insomnia... but because there was a movie on TV that starred Adam Baldwin that I have not seen before (Yeah I know. Very surprising. LOL!)
I like to work on pictures while watching TV or listening to music.

I don't often get to do southern/western type things so this was a pretty cool commission to do.

Azarus - Gift Arts

I admit that I don't have much interest in having uber-close friendships with people I meet online, but Azarus would definately be an exception. We've been good friends since my early days of playing Matrix Online several years back. We both sort of migrated back to playing Star Wars galaxies around the same time.

Earlier this year he contracted a case of "Mono on Steroids", which he still hasn't fully recovered from. I did this picture of his Dark Jedi character as sort of a "get well present". He was originally going to be fighting a Krayyt dragon, but I couldnt fit one in the picture... so it's three blistmoks instead.

For reference, I used screenshots of his character that I secretly took while we were hunting Krayyts the other night.

Jyan - Character Sheet Commission

Character sheet commish for Jyan Nashson of his orca fursona of the same name. This one was kind of fun because I hardly get to draw orcas. It was fun and challenging... a welcome change of pace from the species that I usually draw.

Plus... underwater scenes are probably one of my favorite things to paint.

He wanted her to be in a similar pose to my recent "Na'Kata" character sheet. So yes, the poses are similar on purpose.

Trill - Commish 2

Second commission of Trill. NewEnglander's singer of yore character who changes into a bluebird.

Trill's half morph stage was originally going to be completely covered in feathers, but she looked too much like a Smurf. I wanted to avoid that because I have a few theories about the Smurfs. It's already obvious that the Smurfs are communists, but I think they're KKK members, too. Why else would they wear the pointy white hats?

Anyways... I like the picture better this way, anyways. It sort of looks like her dress became her feathers. Which is kind of cool, I think. NewEnglander also said that he wanted her to have a pointy noise in the second stage, but I think it might have been cooler to have the teeth form the beak and the lips/nose form the cere.

Yuki DeKay - Anthro Sketch Xchange

DeKay's 'coon/wolf character was my chosen for this month's Anthro Sketch Xchange. The theme for this month was TV/Movie Cosplay and she wanted to be drawn as one of the characters from The Mighty Boosh.

With the exception of Firefly, Chuck, and Primetime cartoons, I don't watch much TV so I had never heard of that show. In fact, even after looking it up on Google and Wikipedia, I still don't think I'm 100% sure about what it is. If I understood Wiki correctly, it's more of a Brittish thing anyways.

Vince did have some fun fashions, so I went with that character.
