Rosaline - Gift Art

Gift art for NewEnglander of his character, Rosaline. In my mind, gift art for him is long overdue since he's been a good commission customer for a while now.

I wanted to try out a new sketch page format. And it gave me an excuse to try the pretty stock paper textures that Hibbary and Princess of Shadows made.

Dragon & Rose - Motorcycle Design Commish

The person who commissioned this picture wanted this design as a decal on her motorcycle. Don't ask me how the body shop she's going to is going to do that because I don't know... all I know is that the body shop said that they could do it. :p

Her bike is actually white, and the true design for this picture is on a white background. I just put it on a darker background with a border to "prettify" it for online viewing.

Character Shuffle - Mosibal

Working on this was my morning in a nutshell. This month's round for the Character Shuffle I gotted MyFiveDaemon's character, Mossibal.

He's basically an elf that can transform himself into a tree. The cardinal is his animal companion, Itehop.

Even though I think he looks like a green Harry Potter, I did find him to be a blast to draw and color. I like trying to draw unique characters like this one. In fact, I wasn't planning on doing a full sized picture for the Character Shuffle, but once I started, I just couldn't stop myself.

I've been so concentrated on working on this picture, that I didn't realize how hungry I am. I'm gonna go eat lunch now. Kthxbai!

Rosaline - Commission

Commissioned pic for NewEnglander's newest character, Rosaline (or Roz). She's a D&D style adventurer who accidenly drank a potion that shrank her into a six inch tall mouse.

This picture was definately fun. A welcome change of pace from the traditional anthro and high fantasy that I've been drawing lately.

Jez - Gift Artz

Gift art type thing for SisterLan of her character, Jez (I'm not even going to try and spell his full name ).

Gift art from me is rare... full sized, full colored gift art from me is vitually nonexistant. I've decided to do this for her because she is an awesome person, a good artist... and her characters are just so fun to draw. I miss you, hun.

Happy Birthday, Breaker!

I got for this month's dragon swap. The theme for this month was love/friendship... but he said that his birthday was on valentine's day so I decided to do a play on that.

He requested that he be drawn with "me"... so here I am, along with my dragon character, Arril. It's a little known fact about me that I love cooking/baking and one of the things I make that people seem to like the most is my chocolate covered strawberry cake, so that's what I made him.

Kalamu - GAX Adoption

Along with my standard Gryphon Art Exchange picture for this month, I also try to adopt someone who didn't get their artwork... because it urks me when someone dosen't do their end of an art trade/secret santa exchange/whatever. This month I adopted Kalamu, who didn't get her art back in December.

I got Tailypo's heron gryphon this month... and since this month was romance/friendship themed she has a few friends with her as well. :)

Daedra - Gryphon Art Exchange Adoption

In addition to the regular picture that I did for this month's Gryphon Art Exchange I also decided to adopt one of the people who didn't get there art from a past month because I'm a nice person.

I got unikulkija for the adoption. Yes, I realize that Christmas is long past but she didn't get her art from the December round and said that she really wanted a Christmas theme.

I had fun with this one though I'm not sure if I got all the details right.

I had fun coloring the markings... and the background... but I'm not 100% sure whether or not I like the picture as a whole.

D&D Trio - Commission

Pencil sketch commission. The person who commissioned this picture did so as a Christmas gift to two of his friends and includes his and his friend's Dungeons and Dragons characters. I am quite pleased with how this one turned out... but my scanner completely ate a good portion of the details so the scan dosen't do the original any justice.

Dracotic - GAX Adoption

I've already done my part for the Gryphon Exchange this month but since it 'tis the season for charity I've adopted a member who did not recieve their artwork from previous rounds since I know how frustrating it is to not get your drawing in an art exchange/secret santa.

Anyways, I ended up getting Dracotic's character for the adoption round. This person wanted her dragon character morphed into gryphon form. I decided to keep a few of the draconic features. I've also been meaning to try out a grungy/sketchbookie background for a while now so this pic was the guinea pig.

Watched Creepshow while coloring this picture. I forgot how good that movie is. LOL... Steven King makes a horrible Hillbilly. XD

Very, VERY long overdue commission for Komera for winning my Coloring contest last summer. Mainly because I had to wait about three months for her to finish her character sheet.

Normally I'm not a huge fan of black monochrome character designs because to me all of the colors tend to look the same and merge into each other, but I'm happy with how this one came out. :)

This subject is somewhere near to my heart as my dad and grandpa were both farmers for a number of years. Though they never owned a collie... just several labradors and one Old English sheepdog.
