Liah is a amember of the Blackmane order, a select society of beastmasters that weild shock sticks. In the past few years, she has offered her service to the military. She is always accompanied by her pet Takasaj, Inari.

Omni Fe, the high priestess of her lycan clan, prepares for a religious ritual. Nearly all of them are sacrificial, so she is probably awaiting the sacrifice.

Usually Ulario dosen't dress in clothes this tight or revealing because it restricts her too much while flying (But hey, I bet her husband, Tetra dosen't mind!)

Actually this picture stems from an inside Joke. My dad just bought a new Harley Davidson and I've been obsessed with wanting to drive it.

Typhus, my quaker parrot/house cat gryphon character who is a combination of my RL cat and bird. My bird could be happily minding his own business but as soon as somebody he hates sticks their fingers too close, he'll viciously try to bite them off. Since Typhus is roughly the size of a small horse, his victim would most likely lose a finger... or an arm. If you are a parrot owner like me, this should seem somewhat familiar to you. :p

Black and White

This is a good example of me procrastinating. Trying to work on things that I should be working on has been like swimming upstream through a river of molasses. :/

I've also been trying to force myself out of a rather nasty art block by sitting on the couch with a piece of paper while watching my TV shows and drawing whatever comes to mind at the moment. Most of said ideas end up getting scrapped, but sometimes I come up with something fun that I want to color.

That's where these two mares come in.
So, just a quick picture done for fun.

Now... back to working on the things I should be.

Done for my advanced ceramics class. This little guy is probably about 7 inches tall with a decent wingspan. This picture dosen't do the original justice at all. The original is dark black with a small brown stripe across the wings from where I dipped it in the glaze. He is made with red stoneware clay and glazed with a solid black cone 6 glaze.

Young Blue Gryphon

Blue Magik

Inspired by the model sheet of my quakergryph character that I did yesterday.

I've been saying for quite some time that most avians aren't very well represented in the furry fandom... and quaker parrots are my favorite birds, so i decided to try my hand at an anthro quaker.

For the most part, I'm not a fan of the various color mutations of the quaker parrot... I prefer the classic green. Blue quakers are pretty, though. So I decided to make her a blue quaker.

After finishing her, I'm pretty sure that someone will not read the description and call her a budgie. Which is understandable since even I think she looks a little bit like a blue budgie.

Anyways... she was done for "What The Fur?" in June. Prints of her... as well as the original... will be for sale at the con.

Sorry. I couldn't think of a better title. I've been feeling very uncreative the last few days. :/

Anyways, the first pic in my Ran-Qui series. I tried a few little experaments with the coloring that I think turned out fairly decent. I've got a few ideas for the other two pics in this series... I'm trying to tie Darth Revan into one of them because she lived dring that time period. (And KOTOR is probably my all time favorite video game...)

I guess I've just been in a Star Warsy mood lately. XD

Gryphons and Nebulas - Book Cover

I've been secretly working on a art book...

The full title of the book is "Gryphons and Nebulas: The Art of the Azura't'oris Universe" and it features art related to my fictional universe. ALL new art... nothing that I've posted online already.It is exclusive art that will only be found in the book. I may post one or two pics from the book as a "teaser", though.

I'm shooting to have it done in April (around the time of a certain Furry Convention up in my area), and I'm planning on making it about 50+ pages... though these may change depending on my schedule.

But yeah... this is the cover of the book minus the title. I decided to play with the title "Gryphons and Nebulas" a bit. The critter featured on the cover is DreamWalker, one of the five gryphon lords of Thera.

I Am Sith - Cameron Concept Art

A quickie. Done in about an hour and a half from sketch to color.

My alternate fursona, Ran-Qui the Amaran jedi has a twin sister that turned Sith shortly after the Mandalorian Wars. I've had her sister's design in my head and wanted to get her down on paper.

Like Ran-Qui, Cameron is an Amaran... a race of vulpine aliens in the Star Wars universe. With her lightsaber, I didn't want to go with the cliche sith red. I got inspiration for her lightsaber from watching my husband play Force Unleashed. It's a polearm lightsaber... like the one Kazdan Paratus used... with a black crystal. 'Cuz the blac saber in that game just pwned.

Someday I'd like to draw a battle scene between Ran-Qui and Cameron.

This picture started when I was talking to one of my professors about a project that I was working on.

I didn't like the mascot that my college has now (a cartoon cardinal wearing a red shirt), so he told me to make a better one, so I did.

Cassie the reindeer. My entry for a contest on Furtopia.

I figured that my Alex, my bighorn character, needed a girlfriend... which is another reason that I created her.

Phoenix Nebula

I wanted to try something different with my space scapes, so I experamented with merging my illustration art and space art together. It was originally meant to be a Chinese Celestial Dragon, but it looks better as a phoenix I think.

And on another note... X-Men... there I said it, so nobody else has to. :p I didn't even think of that until after the picture was finished.

"Chasing the Sunrise"

To be honest, this was an unplanned picture. I was playing around with photoshop when I was bored, and ended up painting some clouds that I really liked. To complete it, I threw in some flying gryphons... including my character, Alesto, the kestrel-gryph in front.

The idea of drawing an anthro lemur had been mulling around in the back of my head for some time now. I wanted to try drawing the big poofy tail. I named him "Chez" because he looks like a Chez to me. Dunno if I'm going to use him for anything else.

Ciraxis - Character Concept

I finally got this guy out on paper. He's one of several characters that I've had in my head since the beginning of the year, but haven't found time to put on paper.

Ciraxis is Spartan based. He wields Spartan weapons and wears Spartan-like armor. As much as I love the movie 300, his gear is going to be a little more like historical Spartan armor then the "barely there" armor that was featured in that movie.

Special thanks to the creators of "Deadliest Warrior", for giving my references to go by for this character.

Armor not shown in this picture because I wanted to show his markings. I also think his shield is a bit small to be Spartan-like... I'll have to fix that in his character sheet.

Magnum Shiosai, my golden Asian dragon character comes in for a graceful landing on a mountain top. I always pictured Asian dragons to almost moving like they are dancing when they fly.

Grand Imperial Dragon - Species Concept

More concept art for my "next generation" story. Some of the Ultimarian Senate guards ride on the backs of these noble creatures.

I'm very happy with the design for this species... but I just realized that from the front view, they look a little bovine. ^^

I'm planning on doing a reference sheet for this species... as well as ref sheets for several of the characters in my next gen story.

Busy busy busy. I'm feeling very inspired to work on this story as well as designing some of the things in it. So there will most likely be a lot of new arts from me in the next few months.

On a side note... their appearance is based on a species that I created in Spore
