YAY! I finally got a new scanner! and so here is my first upload with it.
I decided Cougars are teh sexy, and went about teaching myself to draw them :D
so here is my Schmexy Biker Cougar. I hope ya'll think he is as schmexy as I think he is XD.

Here's a cool lookin' seadragon. everyone always likes the rope, but I enjoyed drawing his eyes more. anyways enjoy lookin' at 'im in his boat out in the middle of a vast sea. And of course the nameless reptilian mariner is (c) me.

This lil fox's suit is based mostly on Snake's sneaksuit obviously. well that was the inspiration anyways. I added a buncha stuff to lower possible reflection of light. like the lil screens in front of the ears.

this is a scene from the bridge of Science Vessel A-421. Vulpine Pilot listens to music on his wrist computer as carnage takes place meters behind him. I really enjoyed drawing this ^_^

there are a couple messups, but in all I like the picture.

yay weird and cool perspective. Im posting it like this to show the lack of an "up" in space. I mean the ship is right side up for the viewer.

anyways, Vulpine Pilot watches out the window from Deck 2 while an alien vessle docks.

I guess Deck Two is near the middle of the station, cuz thats a small ring. or something. anyways, I liked 2001 A Space Oddessy :P

ever heard of that game "the cube" basically its an imagination game. the desert is my world. the stone cube is me. the wooden ladder of branches, my friends. the palomino horse my lover. the storm in the distance my problems. the tiny blue flowers my children.

mkay its The Cube redux. this is my world. the stone cube in the air is me, the hand craft wooden ladder leaning on the cube is my friends. the domestic Painted horse standing calmly beneath the cube is my lover. the tiny blue wildflowers are muy children. and the storm clouds in the distance are my problems.

the book this is from, The Cube, has fairly accurate descriptions on what each of these symbols means.

I love Wolf's Rain so much. i cried so much during the ending OAV. i wont spoil it for those of you who are getting into it on Cartoon Network. after i saw someone's FLCL anthro art, i realized i hadnt drawn my fav character from my fav anime yet! so heres a happy middle between Kiba's wolf form and human form. character design by Toshihiro Kawamoto.

I seriously tried to copy Miyazaki's style that he drew Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind in (tha manga). then I forgot that. I saw it in my sketchbook and thought "what does that remind me of...? oh I know: Nausicaa! wsaitsec..."
guess I did a good job.

I started this during my vacation in Vermont with my new pens. So far its the most Ive used them. I liked how this came out a lot. When I scanend it, I prefered leaving the colour in rather than revertin it to greyscale (which made Photoshop run slower). The woods in the Green Mountains are sure different from the woods here in Colorado.

Here be Vulpine Warrior sitting looking at his swordclock. I actually did this with a stick once when I had to be by myself out in the wilderness on Outward Bound. Ah well. anyways VulpineWarrior is and always will be (c) me!

I went skiing last weekend, and drew this while we were up at our friends house up at Steamboat Springs (they werent using it that weekend and let us). I started the sketch in the car ride up, and finished the inking 10 minutes before we left. ^_^

experimented around with filters in photoshop. im still really proud of the fur texture i make. i add sound (gausian, monochrtomatic) and then go area by area adding a motion blur in the direction the fur goes.

More fun with my markers. Im getting the hang of them. Belive it or not this was inspired from a character's boots in Trigun Max #9. I was going to have him jumping from a fire exit in a city, complete with grafitti on the wall behind him.... but I changed my mind and set him someplace that suits him.

Im told I'm fairly good at capturing action. thing is I had to use the same pose in a different setting. he WAS jumping down through the air, so I had to make it to the pose still made sense. nice trail of dust fixes that ^_^

this wolfy was in a dream I had. I actually had a furry dream ^_^ those are so rare! but in addition to being a furry dream, I got to cuddle this here wolf. his fur in my dream was sooo soft ^_^
