New look - revision 1

After some feedback here and on my LiveJournal, I have changed a few things on the sketch. It hurt me to erase so much (everything bar the face!) but I want to get this right.

Working on a new look

Just debating a newer look. I'm gettling a little fed up of the half-arsed mane look, especially when you consider that I'm supposed to be (ex) military. OK so it was a merc. outfit but still...

I've also added a few more battle-scars and "toned-down" the one on the back of my neck. It's still there, just not as pronounced as before.

Moggy sketch

My new friend, Moggy wanted a sketch of her (work in progress) Fursona, so I sketched her this out. Ten minutes tops with a 0.9mm pencil and my forefinger (for the smudge-blending)

"Born with a steering wheel in his hand..."

"...and lead in his foot!"

Although those words were originally attributed to a Grade-A loony (The Nightrider), they also apply to yours-truly! This is me giving it the beans in the "Black on Black" Pursuit special.

Sketched entirely with a 0.5mm propeller pencil in a few hours, including scanning, touching up and then re-scanning (repeat several times!). Quite pleased with how the blower pulley came out and I just have to say that the Weiand intake is pretty menacing - perfect for the Pursuit Special then!

I have been using proper techniques lately and paying closer attention to anatomy and how the body twists during motion. Inked sketch with contruction lines in place (I never use them usually but I will be from now on!)
