Decent, I really don't like this one. Too much on the proportion crap.

This comic was actually done in two parts, each about 5 months apart. The first part was me on the couch, and I just drew up Evan and added him today. I love Photoshop.

Got through another upload session without setting of the Compression Detector!!! w00t ^^

Your current upload allowance is: 9 bonsai kittens
Looks like those kittens are back!

Damn this came out fine. Makes me teary eyed to look at it.
Really, this is what I've been striving for, and hopefully will be able to accomplish on a regular basis.

Tablets Rule!!!

Entering the catacombs. Oddly enough, this is beneath Pat's house. Wait, who's Pat? Oh yeah, simply haven't seen him in a while. Maybe I'll actually finish this story arc soon and get back to the rest of the characters.

Yeah right.

Web Comic Awareness 2003

Cool Beans!!

This is my first year participating, and I really liked how my comic came out. You should go and check out the rest of them! Definately doing this next year.

This was done for a fine arts project. I figured to kill two birds with one stone I would do my comic as my project. Of course, getting the drawing back from my art teacher was like pulling teeth. Let me point out that quill pens are not my favorite.

Trying out some new shading techniques picked up from Ian over at Mac Hall. Looks pretty decent. It's really a mesh of standard cell shading, tablet coloring, and other photoshop techniques. Also the new look for Wally High.

Black and white for a change. This was after a month or so sabbatical because of testing and general lack of motivation. Note, that second panel was done entirely in fine point Sharpie.

Necromonicon of goodness!
Right

This is kinda an inside joke of how messy my library is. Yep, got my own library. Something upwards of 850 books, and some of them are rather old and mystic looking.

Weeeee!!!
New storyline. Inspired by waaaay too much Lovecraft. Besides, I just think it's a great plot device. Every web-comic should have some use for Cthulhu.

BTW:Done with the Tablet.

The comics are likely to look like crap for a while, but I'm certain I'll improve.

I've finally got all the back issues uploaded!!!
I'll upload the rest when I get them done.

Oh well.

I guess it was me, or perhaps a few bad file sizes. Back on track folks, file size-wise.

Continuing the story arc. I like the first panel, I think the lighting techniques came out great. The bottom ain't that bad either, considering that's the first drawing I did with the Tablet of a char.

Ugh. I'm down to fifty percent res to get my pics under the limits set by the compression detector, and that's with Photoshop!

Hmm. . . time to question Ch'marr about this. . .

Anyway, new shading/drawing tweaks. Looks pretty damn good. That'd be Meredith making her second, and possibly final appearance on Wally High. Everyone say Hi, Meredith!

New Year's Resolution, and the beginning of a new plotline. Neither one worked out very well. The Res didn't last out the day, and as for the storyline, IMO, it bombed.

The comic that comes right before this is in the sketches section. I didn't think that it would be allowed in the regular directory that I have set up.

I got a tablet for Christmas, and I spend some time working with it. This was done completely with it.

Just so that some semblance of order remains, Evan was wearing an overshirt in the last comic, with the gray one underneath.

Working with borderlines up there. It didn't last long, but I did add some in later.

Yep, that's a fan on the left. For a while I needed something to keep the case a bit cooler than it was. Since then I've added a fan or two on the interior of the case for the vid card.

50% compression to get this baby through, oy.

Full sized version of the three parters that are in the sketches folder. Took a while to do, as I'd never tried anything this large at that point. Introing Meredith as a new character in the strip.
