Fanart for a fellow VCL artist (check out Chris Sawyer's work!).\r\n\r\nHis very tasty dappled pony Shelton and an overaffectionate zeebdragon. \r\n\r\nShelton © Chris Sawyer\r\nZeebdragon & Art © C. Campbell

I've been working really hard in school, and the last month has been tough. I've been getting pretty good grades; but as incentive to get even better marks, a very sweet boy offered to send me flowers if I earned 100%. \r\nSuffice it to say, I've been trying harder. I only got one question wrong on my latest test, but still I was dissapointed.\r\n\r\nDespite this, he was proud of me. And I found out that if the postal system wasn't so slow, I'd have a bouquet of pride on my table. \r\n\r\nFor this girl, the material gift isn't so important. Not next to the empowering feeling that someone is so confident in your ability to excel.\r\nSchool is hard, but with someone so wonderful cheering me on, I know I can make it.\r\n\r\nFurbo (c) M.A. Bčord\r\nPhar (c) C. Reupload; with a wonderful critique and a little colour tutoring, Bastek suggested how to make the zeebdragon really radiate.\r\nBackground credit: \r\n\r\nIf you had wings, where would you go? \r\n\r\nZeebdragon (c) C. Campbell

The joke being that while in costume and in character, the Mahiyana Supreme Commander is apparently very irresistable to the LRPing ladies. So much so, that while at one multi-day event, one particuliar dame impersonated a lovesick puppy and followed him around. So naturally I have to tease him about it. \r\nBecause yes, gnolls are very cute. Especially surly nasty meantempered gnolls.\r\n\r\nPhr (c) C. Campbell\r\nGrumf (c) M. Not even gnolls like turning 21. \r\n\r\nYeah, it's my birthday. Sod off. Unless you want to buy me a drink.\r\n\r\nPhr (c) C. Campbell

I love the movie 'First Knight'. What girl doesn't fantasize about being rescued by her knight? \r\n\r\nArt (c) C. Campbell\r\nCharacters (c) their Creators

Oilpaints on black matting board, 5" x 12".\r\n\r\nA sorrell hippogryph following a cloud of pheromones, his steps as if on air...\r\n\r\nArt (c) C. Campbell

Image: selfloathing.jpg   578x669 45495 bytes 2004.07.11

Random ghostly deer-girl contemplating the extinguishing fires.\r\n\r\nDone completely in photoshop. One of the first all-digital pictures I'm actually sort of satisfied with. And yes, it is supposed to look like she's...coming out of her dress a little bit at the top. \r\n\r\nArt (c) C. Campbell

Another entry for Livejournal's community 'FurArtXchange'. I've taken a breather lately, and when Swandog was chosen, I couldn't resist doing this of her and her mate, the Panduck Sayh. \r\nWatercolours and Pencil crayons, in a more childrens 'storybook' theme. \r\n\r\nSwandog & Sayh (c) their creators\r\nArt (c) C. Drawn for another FAX round on LiveJournal. \r\nThe Chosen One, Forrestwolf, nominated a character she made based on her Sony Minidisk Player. Otherwise known as Marcus, the silver fox.\r\nShe mentioned that he was a slick operator and very cool and charming. So, where else would a guy like that go to hang out than a Parisian cafe.\r\nAnd who else with, than the competition, an iPod vixen.\r\nMarcus (c) Forrestwolf\r\nArt (c) C.Campbell\r\n

Centaur gal Ralleigh hawking with her gryfalcon Cam. More fun with my new Prismacolor pencilcrayons. Debating on speckling or spots for her elk half, or merely cream bands. Hmm.\r\nThanks to Foxy for the names!\r\nRalleigh (c) C.Campbell

Image: kalya.jpg   739x599 27313 bytes 2003.11.01

Acrylic and watercolor painting of the ebony Amethyst wyrm Kalyamask. Older image, but still a favorite. Never find another deadly nightshade killer liker her. From DragonSpires MU*.\r\nKalyamask (c) C.Campbell

Image: kettensage-whitewater.jpg   544x852 30405 bytes 2003.11.01

More FurArtXchange art, done for the community on LiveJournal. Hallowe'en themed, it's Kettensage, the eyeless werecanine. She loathes spiders, and pink, and the name 'Kettensage' means Chainsaw in German. So what better than to show the best kind of therapy for getting over phobias and dislikes. Disembowling carnival plushies. W00t. I really liked how this piece came out, especially that manic smile. Oddly enough it didn't even get a handful of votes and lost by a landslide.\r\nKettensage (c) Demoncougar\r\nArt (c) C.campbell

Image: wylen-whitewater.jpg   564x564 17120 bytes 2003.11.01

The Civet Wylen and her faithful Klarth, for a 'giftart' round of FurArtXchange on Livejournal. Done for the most prolific artist this year on FAX; the wonderful LaBlueThing. Prismacolor markers on posterboard. My first experiment with only markers turned out rather well, I think. She's supposed to be a jester/gypsy gal, to explain the billowy sleeves. No voting for that round.\r\nWylen & Klarth (c) LaBlueThing\r\nArt (c) C.Campbell

My submission to FurArtXchange on LiveJournal, during the Dunewolf round. Prismacolor markers and pencils, watercolor paints and a dash of acrylics on a scrap of canvas. A very non-kosher experiment, though I very much like how it turned out. Thanks go to Foxy for helping with the finishing touches and helpful suggestions. Almost won, too.\r\nDunewolf (c) Dunewolf\r\nArt (c) C.Campbell

My first submission to LiveJournal's FurArtXchange contest. It's Saoirse, the psittadracogryphon, or Parrot-Dragon-Gryphon hybrid. Sitting on an invisible branch during an invisible sunny day. Need to pratice backgrounds...\r\nShe also loves Chicken, which is sort of the theme of the image. The caption would read 'It'll Turn Chicken Eventually', or something witty like that. I'm of the opinion the egg comes first. :)\r\n\r\nSaoirse the Psittadracogryphon (c) Sarah 'Saoirse' Rael\r\nImage (c) C.Campbell

First upload in a long time...What an icebreaker!\r\nWhy is it when other people are blue it's inspiring? Whitewater, looking a little more 'My Little Pony'esque than normal, done for my dear friend Foxy. There's nothing better for dispelling the gloom than a wild ride. At least, for those who don't easily get motion sickness. \r\nThough the road may be rough, you'll eventually get to where you ought to be, and things will turn out right in the end. Don't forget that, Foxy. Those who care will never let you fall. \r\n\r\nWhitewater (c) C.Campbell, Foxy (c) his Creator

Acrylics on the cover of my '01-'02 sketchbook. Based on an Arabian's body build, looking...'moon'-ey. ^^

My greenling, Izanath, rendered in acrylics, ink, watercolors and crayons on grainy green cardboard. See if you can see her, a hint: Her neck's that green curve, and red is coming from her wings. Cool ink webbing achieved by putting down a big blob, and blowing on it. Acrylics sponged on to look snowy and rough. Enjoy. :>

Image: diverf.jpg   755x966 38065 bytes 2001.06.21

A framed piece I gave to my boyfriend's Aunt for her birthday. Done with white glue, watercolors, india ink and lots of patience. The diving woman was a picture I found on, for a 'action in motion' project. Took me two weeks of class time. Ook. Luv ya, Aunt Liz! :D

Image: laoblyn.jpg   1268x1703 350710 bytes 2001.06.06

The one and only Lady Laoblyn, immortalized in watercolor for the school art auction. I'm so sad, I had to give this baby away! Originally eight inches by five and a quarter, the lime green frame just makes it great. :>
