This was a birthday pic to my friend. Her character "Captain Cougar" with some random angel, Jesus and the Holy Spirit....and CAKE!. Ha....this is gonna make a lot of you go "WTF!?" I think it's cute, so there. :P

When life sucks, I borrow Mark and go for a ride through the Heavens. (Heavens lovingly rendered in cheap photoshop detail) If Mark isn't available, I guess a ride with Eriden on his motorcycle will do nicely. In either case, I find myself wanting to escape life a lot.

I don't think I even want to try to explain this one. It's just another insane inside joke between me and my bizarre friends.

A birthday picture for Lady Xan of her character. For some reason, I've been running into a lot of purple characters lately. Odd color explosion. Anyway, this is marker and colored pencil with some photoshop in the background text and clean-up, and was a quick project- Total time, from blank paper to finish, roughly 3 hours. The Bible verse in the background is Revelation chapter 5, verse 13b.

A picture for Accipiter (Samuel Jirenius) whose art can be found on Yerf. I tried really hard to get his fur pattern to look kinda realistic, just to see if I can. I need to practice on lighting though. The lighting could have been MUCH more dramatic.

Added this a bit early. Birthday greetings go out to my good friend Mystee, my Lord & Saviour Christ Jesus, and my husband Blizzard. I've noticed a lot of folks I know were born in the winter months. (Well, ok, scholars argue Christ was TECHNICALLY born in the spring.) Anyway, a Happy Holiday season to everyone out there!

I was wearing this outfit today, so I thought I'd pose in the mirror and draw it. I LOVE Skillet (their latest CD is called "I'm Invincible"), so here's a plug for the band too.

This started out as a sketch I did in church. Yeah, I draw in church. but I was paying attention! The reading (Numbers Chapter 13 and 14) was about the Israelites wandering in the desert after they fled Egypt. They were SUPPOSED to go right into the promised land, like God told them to, but only Caleb was brave enough to want to do it and overthrow the Caananites and Amalekites and other tribes there. So God said "Fine! Wander in the desert for 40 years. And only Caleb, Joshua and your kids get to eventually enter the promised land."
