I've colored this peice using a special Multi Color Pencil which I got in New York at "Pearl". It's called "CRETACOLOR JUNIOR" by "QUATTRO" # 34125 A very large and wide pencil, and a bit of a chellenge to work with.

	Image: ShouGoddess.jpg 850x550 42580 bytes 2004.07.07 This is a Chinese kind of god. It's referred to as a "Shou". (Sounds like the English word "show") "Shou" basicly means beast. There's many kinds of Shou, and this one I've done as female. Most Shou are gaurdians.

It's actually mixed media, because I used ink, and color pencil too... but for the most part, it's Pastel pencil & White harcoal Pencil. The thing with Pastels is that they are soft, and you can't make fine details with them. So, it's better to work big... unlike this which is small... Also, Pastels should come out blurry & soft looking.... that's just how it is.
