yaaaay, i have a new char! her name's citra. she's a fox, and she's aaaall black. except for the white bits. *snerk*

she can change her eye color at will. but it takes some effort, so when she's not doin' it her eyes are black. oh, and her hair isn't always that color, with the green 'n orange streaks. she just has a bolt of white hair which she can dye different colors.

she's the more rambunctious counterpart to my rat fur. ^w^

i didn't shade it 'cause i was being lazy. and i'm not sure if i like the outlines on the feathers. meh.

*glee* this is what i'm wearing to the ren faire this year. i wouldn't go so far as to call it a costume, because it's not. it's just modern clothes that kinda fit the theme.

unfortunately, i have no inspiration whatsoever to color it. :(

yaaay, it's an anniversary present for dan & jamie. except i didn't know what jamie's fur looked like, so i just found an old pic she drew of herself with ears and a tail and made up the rest. X3 it's a couple days late, but i only had 1 day's notice. =_=

they're starfishing. well, she is. he already caught 2 and went for napsies to give her a chance to catch up. 3 stars for 3 years. hooray for symbolism. :D

i found a great paintbrush setting in Potatochop just as i had finished up on the characters and started on the bg. hence the lack of continuity in coloring there. i lurrrve the bg, but i hate her eyes. the coloring style doesn't match the rest of the pic at all. *will redo*

i wanted to color, but didn't have any new pics, so i took it out on this drawing that was originally done back in '04. i just scrapped together bunches of photographs and textures and this is what i came up with. it's my first try at that scrappy abstract look. and those kanji in the background read "rat bat". not so creative, but...

i drew this a looong-ass time ago, but i never inked it 'cause i was sure i'd ruin it, but i just came across it and thought it was a shame i'd never gone any farther with it than the sketch. i absolutely adore how the coloring came out. actually, the colors were a bit more contrasty and looked a bit more "natural media" in photoshop, and i liked it much better that way. damned color settings. i do have some mixed feelings about her piercings, though, and in retrospect i wish i had balanced them out with some metal bits in her other ear. i kinda hate the watermark.

the colors came out a little more girly than i had originally intended, but it works. much satisfaction is had. incidentally, i have that dagger. somewhere. O.o

bahahaha! i drew this forEVAH ago (couple years, maybe) but i only just got around to coloring it.

the coloring came out more or less how i envisioned it, but i'm not as pleased with it as i had hoped. and i dunno what those electric fluffballs are. i just needed filler. static discharge, maybe? XD
