Whereas Avernine stands more for sorrow, Ophelia is sin- drinking, smoking, etc, but she's also quite the romantic. (Ignore Aver in the image- it's just symbolic, I didn't change her colors or anything.)

Sorry about the large size of the image; I made a smaller version, but it massacred the detail. I'm happy with the subject overall, but there are several errors that bug me, and that background could be... much better. It took a long while, but it was fun.

	Image: lion_taurgirl.jpg 344x567 32459 bytes 2003.06.18 A young lioness-taur spots a butterfly. Intrigued, she lifts her hand to catch it. This image was finished just a few days ago. Inked with a pilot pen and colored in Photoshop 5.5.
	Image: marquiel4hakura.jpg 405x460 77629 bytes 2003.06.21 @_@;; This took a super long time and turned out horribly. I tried a new coloring technique coupled with a background and gasp backlighting. Needless to say, I need to practice. Marquiel is copyright Hakura Mayabashi(sp?); this was part of an art trade. =)

	Image: wolf.jpg 143x400 53857 bytes 2003.06.19 This was part of a bigger poster for art fund. class, but it wouldn't fit in my scanner and I had a hard enough time just putting these two pieces together! Sorry it's so borderline. Done with crayola colored pencil and sharpie on posterboard. The wolf in the middle was based on a Mayan illustration.
